We'll see. So.....I don't know what to think now. I put my battery on my new charger about 330. It was at 3.3v when I put it on. I just pulled it off and after almost 8 hours it was only at 3.7v....
I would think maybe it was my batteries, but I put Joe's ultra fire 18650 3000mah batt on the old one and it would take 16+ hours to charge. Guess I'll put his on it again and see, but what are the odds of 3 bad batts?

Depending on the batts I could see 3 being bad....who knows....
Have you checked the batts with a multimeter? Maybe the batts and charger are good but the readout on the device is the issue.
I've found, at least for me, that having good quality batts and chargers are worth the peace of mind they afford. In the long run I find it cheaper. My Pila has been outstanding so far and like Pitt says somewhere here, the xtar is good also. I have and xtar for my 3 volt batts and so far I've been very happy with it.
I dunno..I think the odds are against 3 bad batts, 2 of which are pretty new. The only thing that I could think of, would be that they are still pretty new and may need to be conditioned more..But that should THEN lead to a longer charge time. A readout issue on two units seems off as well.. By no means am I eliminating both of those as an issue, but it seems more unlikely than the charger itself.
Yes, a good charger (or two, or three) and complimentary batteries are the foundation to vaping! You wouldn't put a "best choice" (going for a generic name) battery and alternator in your car or truck and expect positive results..
I put a batt on last night at 1130 and 12 hours later it's now up to 4.0v. I don't think I'm gonna screw with it anymore. I'll just buy a new charger when payday gets here!

Yeah. I don't know if it's the leads or the actual meter. I found it yesterday and tried it, but the numbers just bounce around like crazy and nowhere close to what they should be. I tried it on a few different things just to make sure.

Well, Im not sure..I put 2 2000 mah IMRs on the charger at 10 and Im gonna check to see how long, exactly, they take to charge. they are pretty decent batts (wanna say Sanyo, which are comparable/same to lower end pannies). They are on a TF charger as well..

Let me know how long they take. I keep thinking it can't be 3 bad batteries....then I think it can't be 2 bad chargers....I don't know. I've tried it in different outlets, hell we've tried it in 2 different houses!

Well I just checked the batts after 3 1/2 hours and they both read approximately 3.96 volts..they were both drained to between 3.4-3.5v. Should be done in the next 2 hours or so

Just for reference my 2000 mah aw's take 1.5 hours to go from 3.5ish to 4.1.
the 3 volt aw lifepos take about an hour...but these I have no idea what they went on the charger at or what they came off at...my multimeter is fubar...I need a new one. I've had 3....2 cheapies and one I dropped $35 on and it sucks for what I need it for in the vaping arena. My next one will be another $8 meter.

Hi babies....how's everybody doing today? I've had and am having an abnormally productive sunday. Looked all over hell to find some cabinet hinges and finally found a set that worked but not the same that was original. At the end of my hinge journey I realized I was too close to Plumes to not stop in. Pick up a few cartos and a new drip tip. Got to chat up Sam a bit. Sam is very accommodating. He's going to stock some of these mega wacky dualies I've been using forever and he's getting nic in later this week. I'm going to check his nic out. Local nic would be an absolute epic item. I've fixed my cabinet door....I'm filtering my Acid Blondie experiment...Watching Styx on Palladia and cleaning the kitchen a bit. My Squakeyes play Purdue in a bit and I'm as fat and happy as I can be ....all things considered.
I believe I've earned myself a refreshing adult beverage....

I think when I buy a new charger, I'll probably buy a couple different 18650's, probably at least one 2000mah and one 3000mah.
Mine have been talking 4 hours just to go from 3.3 to 3.5

The ones I had charging got done just now..So 4 1/2 hours on a TF charger, 2000 mah each. They aren't the same batts as yours, but, that's a rough guideline. My normal charger probably would still have them on a charger, but I have that one set to a slower charge. I have probably 8 sets of 18650s so no need for a rapid charge.
Is that in your Pila charger?
I've been debating on weather to get a nice multimeter or just a cheapie.....but times like this it would really come in handy!

yeah, I have a decent DMM for "normal" usage and then a $12 one I got from Harbor Freight, in my vaping tool kit.

I have been dealing with yahoos all day and finally have a bit of a "break". Jen is at her stupid bridal shower, so I made her take one of the guys somewhere for a while so I wouldn't kill somebody, lol. Watching the Celtics game..but I'm out of adult bevvies..
Just me buddy, but I recommend good charger/cheap mm....you don't need all the bells and whistles on a mm....but I've learned that good batts and chargers are worth their weight in gold...
