Best method?
Re-coil at that point?

I know I could go read all of this somewhere....but this is easier..............for me.

I don't know for sure.....I haven't made it more than a week before tearing mine apart and redoing it......getting ready to play with it again....

So the only difference I noticed between the 2 aga-t+'s that I now have is that the first one has a red o-ring in the top and the new one has like an opaque grommet looking ring. Don't know why the change....

Well, from what I have experienced, every week or so I just gave it a quick cleaning (Distilled water rinse and a quick burn) and it was good as new'ish'. The last wick I had in one of the gennies lasted a couple of months by that. Granted, I didn't use it all of time. I didn't worry about recoiling until the coil was too gunked over to be effective, or if it is thinning out or giving odd readings.
