Stupid question I know, but did you give it a pull to extend it?
Even if you did and it worked that shouldn't be an issue with a new vari...

When I think mine isn't working I usually give it a lil pull and it extends it....oh wait we're talking about the provari....my bad...carry on...

Jakester....I worked in the elements for years and it sucks....and it worries me to know you're out there.
Layer up....protect the digits and keep little Jake tucked in.
I know you like to pull that rascal out, but don't. Nobody wants to see that and frostbite on the little guy would be painful.

Thanks for the warning Hawk! Nice to know ya care.....but I thought you liked it when i pulled lil Jake out.....it really sucked out there today....luckily we have a shack, if you call it that, made out of metal with a couple lil space heaters in it that we can step into for a few minutes to warm up. It's not too bad in there as long as it's not below about 20....lower than that and the space heaters don't do much good. Oh well, 2 more days.....this week....
