I've not used kanthal...yet. I've got a wad of nichrome and so far I'm happy with that. Maybe because I don't know any better.
I like Silica....didn't care for cotton(in all honesty I may have picked up the wrong stuff). May try bamboo, but I've got some ss mesh I

What's the difference between kanthal and nichrome? I've never done any rebuilding, but I'm wanting to start. I think my first test will be with my vivi nova. I want to try the ss mesh....just cuz it sounds cool....

Did you ever try that Four Loco when it first came out? It was loaded with caffeine. The first time I had one I was feeling no pain and couldn't sit still.....I think I could have ran a marathon...drunk.....
The mesh and wire are becoming more prevalent and can be found all over now. It was tougher a few months ago.
I've not used a nova. I'm sure the other yahoos have.
Rebuildables are becoming more mainstream also. I've for my eye on a bottom burner at vaping zone(($17) and the aga-t for about $27.
Both look good and have (as far as I can tell) good reviews. That's what I'm looking at for affordable.
For overpriced....I like the ac9. Trey cool and real good reviews from the lucky few that have gotten them.
Over $100. I'll wait on that and play with the cheapies for now.

I'm diabetic and counting/knowing carb intake is vital.
Beer is known...liquor is a bit trickier, but energy drinks have a bunch of goofy crap in them that the nutritional info doesn't account for.
My endo doesn't blink an eye about a beer if I'm accounting for carbs and then a blood sugar crash later( bottom line..I can drink if I count carbs, bolus insulin as/if needed and eat also to avoid a crash) but she freaks about energy drinks.

Have you tried any atty's with ss mesh wicks? I watched a vid on rebuilding the novas, he said they aren't a true rebuidable, but they are really easy to rebuild. I figure for 2.99 a head I'm not out much WHEN I screw it up.....
Hell yeah. Those little dudes cut loose when they get away from pitt.
And their cuddly and calm when their not worried about getting spanked all the time...
I've done the phoenix with mesh, but again, I'm not familiar with the nova Soooo...
Does the mesh wick well? Where's a good place to learn about rebuilding? Just search on here??? Sorry, I don't get out much....
