I've read sporadic reports on both having some issues, but few and far between.

I like the vamo for the aspect it has buttons other than the fire button, but I have not seen and charts yet as the the performance aspect.

Rev 2 zmax seems solid, but I have already heard rumblings of a rev 3

no vamo is a vv vw with 2 batt configurations like the zmax. The button design is like the lava tube with up down and fire

Not the zmax and vamo are different in appearance, but yes those are the battery configs...
