Ok....I made a new wick for my aga last night....this one I made 3" wide...the other ones I made were smaller than that....this one isn't wicking at all.....if I tip it upside down for a bit I can get about 1 good hit before I get a dry hit. This wick should be wrapped even tighter than the previous ones, which should mean better wicking....right?? I've tried it with the fill screw in and with it out...still the same....any ideas or suggestions?

I made a 2" wick earlier and coiled 'er up..kept popping the coil. Swiftly put everything away and began to clean. Today must not be my day to mess with that.

If it's packed too tightly in there, almost solid, it might just be slow to wick..May have to give it a little bit to break in.. Not sure otherwise..

I followed a ford mustache down the road today. Nice ride but think I like the Chevy clitaro better....

Where's the meet up going to be? Hope they have tap natty.....

I almost just wanna do Brewsky's or Luckies.. Not exactly close to where you are going to be staying, but a quick hop to Cornhusker will get you there mas rapido!

I was asking about it on another thread....told them my setup and one guy said that is exactly how he has his set up and it's working great.....I don't know.....I do know these are really finicky....get a good coil with no hot spots and move it just a bit and bam hot spots again!

That's the way I have been lately..Great wick, poor coil..Great coil, poor wick. I guess I haven't really been messing with them lately as much, but I'm back to being frustrated, lol.

Is your wick pinched at all?

Now that you mention it....I cut the top and bottom of the wick off after I rolled it last night because it was a little too long...the scissors I used were kinda dull and pinched it....tried to round it out again....maybe that's the problem???

It's possible, but not the likeliest.. How easy is it to pull in and out of the atty?
