ya but the coil has to be installed on the RBA right to be tested, there is no way to test it without it being attached right

You usually will take a reading with your DMM before installing it in the RBA. You just probe either end of your wire. After its attached how you want it, you can take another reading for your "final" numbers. So, yeah, you can and should check the wire before in order to get it to the resistance you want and to make sureyou didn't accidentally mix up NR wire with kanthal, lol

Uh oh.....NR = no resistance.....no matter how many wraps you make on your coil, you will still have......no resistance
