Need 801 passthrough Info

I just got a 801 passthrough to use when working at the computer. Does it have to be charged to used the first time? Or do I plug it in and puff away? I plugged it in, and the end light blinked, and I couldn't get a hit off it at all. So now I have it plugged into the wall, seeing if I have to charge it up. I got it from Ruyan Direct.
Any Info appreciated. Thanks....

Shouldn't have any inline battery to charge at all. May be a DOA. Try a couple different USB slots. Mine don't work in the car usb adapter nor the wall usb adapter but work fine in my laptop and PS3 USBs...

Both of mine (901 and 801) are also from Ruyan Direct for what it's worth.

Thanks for answering. I got it to work on hubbys laptop. But for some reason will not work on my new desktop. But now it is working great when I use his.

I have an 801 PT from myvaporstore.com. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I've tried different ports with the same results. I tried to find this out too, with no help, so I left my PT plugged in for a day, and it didn't make any difference.

Someone on here, in one of the post, said the pc doesn't truly recognize USB passthrough's and so it doesn't really know exactly how much power to send it, so if it starts getting warm, it sees it as a threat, and shuts off the power supply to protect your pc.

I'm thinking about buying a Kesington power pack and trying it, maybe that's solve this prob, and I can atleast get my money's worth out of my PT. Also, I don't get half the amount of vapor on my PT that I do on my batteries, auto/manual, either one.
