If you don't mind waiting a couple weeks, there is a great deal on a VAMO going on right now -- $37 shipped (add your own batteries, charger, etc).

VAMO Variable Volt/Watt APV V2

Should be shipping around the 28th!

Edit to add.. I'm trying to have a LITTLE bit of restraint and not order this myself... haha

Well...as usual...I'm going to recommend the Smoktech VV Gripper. They are available all over the place, but Madvapes' price is probably the best. You'll need the batteries, charger and deliver device (carto/carto-tank/clearo/vivi/atomizer) but it's a good deal. They have the kits too...so you get everything in the box to start.

I like it because it's light and the shape is easy on the hands. The voltage is easy to set and has a wide range from 3v to 6v in .01 increments. It will read your ohms and let you know what battery level you have left. You'll need an adapter (510/510 or 510/eGo) for the clearos, but those are cheap and sold there, too. Might even come with the kit...didn't check. Nice APV. Uses one 18650 rechargeable flat top battery. I have one that's over 6 months old and just got another one in silver earlier this month.

I'd suggest the Ovale V8 at Discount Vapers also (lovely little APV!!) but they are sold out right now. Don't know anywhere else to get them.

My wife was coveting my eVic, so of course I had to hand it over :) I picked up a VV Gripper and its been working great for me. The only gripe I have with it is the wobbly 510 connector, which I would fix on my own if I didn't have a 6 month warranty from the local shop I purchased it from :D

It would also be great if it had eGo threads, but thats what adapters are for.

Restraint? Pfft, where is the fun in that? Grab one up!

I picked one up about a month ago from same place, works great. SS version feels pretty darn sturdy too.

I just ordered one! So excited what a killer price. And i didn't need batteries or a charger because i have a ZMAX which already uses a 18650 battery plus charger.

I have to agree with you the Gripper is the most comfortable of all my VV APV 's to vape. It also has all the features as the bigger pv's except VW mode. It is a nice 18650 PV that is easily carried in your pocket.:)

Ha! Nice :) For the price it is pretty cool. What mechanical did you get?

Yeah, for the price, having yet another VV/VW device is nice. I need more devices to put all my RBAs on!! Once everything is shipped, I'll have one extra RBA. Hmm....

I picked up a bolt on the cheap. It was an accident, I swear. I went looking for a couple tubes for an RBA and ended up with 4 tubes, 2 new 18650 batteries, a nitecore 4-bay charger, and a bolt.

I just wanted a couple TUBES!

You gotta remember that when I say "for cheap" that means less than $50. Everything else I've been running (modded, decked out eVic, ProVari, Reo) cost about $150+ without batteries and chargers.

So the bolt for $38 seemed like a no-brainer. I ordered from GotVapes (and have a permanent 5% discount, so it was more like $36 lol), and the special is still running.

A backup mech (which seems a little redundant) and a damn VAMO on the way!
