Ok so. I just got a itaste svd and love it. I put the best tank I have on it which is my new smok acro 5.0 recently bought a few weeks ago. The problem I'm having is it taste burnt every time I change any setting on the svd any recommendations?

You mean you get a burnt taste at any setting ?

You probably set it too high and ended up burning something and now that burnt taste won't go away very fast until you do a total washout on the tank, especially change coil.

You have to start low and work upward to the sweet spot; once you go too far past the sweet spot, you burn something;

thinner wire coils have a narrower window of operation than thicker wire coils.

Have you done what edyle suggested? Empty the tank, wash it out and put in a new coil?

Once you've done that, start low and work your way up. Generally you can take the resistance of the coil and add two to get your voltage. So if it's a 2 ohm coil + 2 you'll be at 4 volts. Using a fully charged battery (4.2 v) you'll be around 7 - 9 watts. When I used clearos with factory coils I generally vaped at 7 - 7.5 watts. Above that I would get burnt hits.

Yes exactly what i mean and it doesnt taste burnt on my other vv/vw mod has exact same functions just a cheaper mod. i can change any settings on it and it vapes fine its only on the svd im having this problem.

Ah; so nothing is wrong with the tank.

I am not familiar with the SVD, but that sounds like RMS/MEAN setting that happens on vamos.

If there is an RMS/MEAN setting on your SVD, and it is currently at MEAN, you will get that effect where its putting out a higher voltage than what you're setting it.

Set it to RMS mode, not MEAN mode, if you have that option
