most buy backups for the backups.just have to go with your budget.maybe a different tank for your nx30 and work towards a replaceable battery mod and then better tanks.what tank do you have now?
Do you feel it’s maybe time to move up to a coil based system or do you wish to continue using drop in coil cartridges?
Based on the above, it seems like the problem isn't that you need a newer or "better" set-up. It sounds like you're possibly not refilling your tank until the coil gets too dry, IMO. Any set-up will result in a burnt taste if that's the problem.
I still use my nx75 and never tasted burnt in fact is the smoothest vape i've had lolz Plus it's small and portable imho nothing better than this..... Well maybe except the 100watt one !

when i first started vaping i used a tsunami v power, then after about a month i bought a smok t-priv with a baby beast tank using X4 - 0.15 coils and after a learning process i went through with it im very very happy with it now.
I'm gonna buy one of those things so I can recommend them here. Must be the best thing since sliced bread....(seriously glad they're liked, just being me.)You don't need 5 picos... .Unless you feel you do

@Greekvapegirl ... I recommend just upgrading the tank. I love my Battlestar 200/Battlestar RTA combo. But a new tank may be all you need. The Vaporesso Estoc is a very reliable, leak-free, worry free tank. It produces great flavor and vapor at around 35-40 Watts but works well at lower wattage, too. The coils last for tank after tank of liquid and they're very inexpensive (less than $10.00 for a 5-pk.
And yes, I use it on one of my Pico 75's every day.
I was actually thinking of getting a Pico. I get so overwhelmed. ..so many devices to choose from!
The Pico 25 kit looks real nice to me although I know nothing about the Ello tank. One of my very first kits was a Pico with a Mello tank. Still have both. Both still work. Honestly didn't get amazing flavor until I started using rebuildables, but the Mello wasn't bad.

That's a nice beginner setup but from your original post, it sounds like you're not really into the mouth-to-lung style of vaping. I wasn't either and didn't quit smoking tobacco until I moved to direct-lung inhalation.
The NX30 can support tanks like the Vaporesso Estoc I mentioned earlier, but that tank really does better closer to 40 Watts. The original Crown tank @madstabber mentioned does that very well too, as do a bunch of others.
I can't tell you what to get. I can only share what's worked for me. I have a bunch of Pico mods because they're small, powerful, portable, tough, versatile... cheap! I've very rarely seen someone here complain about the device and there are a BUNCH of Pico owners here.
The Battlestar is a two-battery mod that's also tough, powerful, versatile and just beautifully put together. That one also has a lot of users here and I have only seen one complaint and that one was on aesthetics rather than technicals or performance.
