As the title says, I have a map tank and just went to switch my ce2 and alas... the ss barrel decided to detach and is lodged in my delrin cap. Luckily have a mini torpedo tank that fits the clear tube of the map tank, but I want my light weight delrin!

Any thoughts to remove the tube without destroying the delrin cap?

Find a socket that just fits inside the cap but will catch the steel piece and use that to push the piece of steel out of the delrin cap.

Put the delrin cap over a bigger socket and tap the smaller socket from the tank side with a small hammer to push the piece of steel through the delrin cap.

Put the delrin cap over a bigger socket and tap the smaller socket from the other side with a small hammer to push the piece of steel through thye delrin cap.

What I've done, when my barrel fell in, was take a cut one (always keep scraps, never know when they will be useful) and placed it on the other side (the concave part where you cut it goes in). Tap (from the end of the full barrel) with a spoon while holding the derlin tight. Keep going until it's the way you want it, remove pieces (took needle nose pliers for me) and all done.
