So I was talking to a friend of mine who is a smoker and I noticed she was pulling out a blu every so often in between having regular cigs.

So we got on the topic of ecig and she said shes trying to convert but hasnt been able to rely on just the ecig for her nic fix. So I talked to her about egos and all the options that are out there and to my surprize she didnt want to move onto something that was not a cig-a-like.

Now its been just about a year sense iv bought a cig a like or even looked at them so I know nothing about the modern ones but I do know that there are cheaper better functioning ones then blu. Soo I need suggestions so I can alteast save her some money and hopefully get her something that functions a little better and that might warm her up to trying egos lol.

Ty in advance for your suggestions :)

I stopped by a friends house this evening specifically to talk to her about e-cigs. She tried the "blu" types and did not like them. I let her test mine and she ended up going and buying an Ego T set with several different juices.

Funny thing is that her husband told me that anyone in the family who has mentioned her trying out e-cigs, she'd get mad.

I would say head over to smokeless image and check out what they have. That's how I got my mom to switch.

They have a ton of color choices and led choices.
I agree with this suggestion. They even have skins you can apply to the cartomizers to make them look more like a filtered cigarette.

Smokeless Image got me off the smokes.

They're 808, but Vapor4Life sells good quality cigalikes, I used them for awhile. Although they're kind of pricy as far as starter kits, they'll still save her money after her initial investment, because their hardware is built extremely well and is reliable. A thousand times more reliable than Blu, which I started out with. They're an outstanding company with terrific customer service, and they really stand behind their products. Their blank cartos last a long time, if she doesn't mind filling them herself.

My sister in-law uses a blu and only a blu. She wont even try my eGos. All of my kr808 e cigs out perform the blu. Hotter vapor, more vapor, and more frequent puffs. My aunt got a blu from the sister in-law, and all it did was frustrate her. She finally gave my eGo a try. I bought a clearomizer and filled it with Ultamint, and she was excited. She bought a 650 mah starter kit the next day.

I agree that Vapor4Life or Smokeless Image Volt are the best cig-a-likes on the market.

My strong guess, however, is your friend is not really interested in wanting to quit, at least not yet. If someone still smokes while using a poor model like the Blu and won't consider something just a little larger, then they probably are not ready to quit.

If you like the look and feel of a Blu dispostable, try litecigusa - you can get a Joye 510 280 mah rechargeable battery w/a 510 connection. If you really enjoy Blu's flavors, Blu's cartomizers will work with the Joye 280 mah 510 battery. And for four dollars more than a disposable Blu, the battery will last you at least six months, maybe more!

The Joyetech eRoll would be my first choice for someone who absolutely insists on a cig-alike. It packs a really surprising punch for its size and it doesn't have the cig-alike battery charging hades issue. You take a few puffs and just pop the fully assembled battery/atomizer/tank right back in the iPhone-like 1,000 mAh case.

I've got a lot of PVs but the eRoll is my go-to for out and about. It's super easy to use and hassle-free. Even if your friend decides to move on to better gear the eRoll is a nice addition to any arsenal for times when vaping inconspicuously is a good choice.

This review is for the eMini but it is identical to the eRoll only sold under the Ovale brand name.

However, if you can persuade your friend to go a wee bit larger Innokin's new iTaste VW V3.0 would be a great choice. It has VV/VW, oHm and battery voltage readout as well as a puff counter that seems to appeal to new vapers.

For juices that crack tanks she could add a Kanger Pro Tank

This is a picture of my iTaste next to a highlighter marker to give you an idea of size. It doesn't show in the photo but the light dusting of white speckles are actually micro-glitter.

.

Todd's review will give you an idea of how the iTaste works.

I would also suggest that you show your friend dragonbone's wonderful Show us your girly, pretty, decorated, pink! thread. There will surely be plenty of pretty, girly PVs there that your friend would find attractive.

your right but shes showing interest in ecigs she already has one im thinking she just needs that little push or motivation and a good functioning ecig might be just what she needs haha

Just watched this and he mentioned how the pcc doesnt hold anything else but the single ecig

is there one that does hold juice or extra tanks or something?

i do love the fact that you dont have to take the ecig apart to use the pcc

thoughts? comments?

or even how do u suggest i tell her to carry juice on her needle tip bottle? but not all vendors sell their product in needle tips and an entire bottle might be much to carry...

ik those tanks can leak with the condoms on them so just throwing the little condomed tanks in your pocket probably would end badly

she smokes about a pack a day of parliaments

I very much like most of Phil's reviews but he seemed to missed the entire point of how the eRoll is best used. You take a few puffs and slip the battery back in the PCC case rather than running the battery down completely before putting it in the PCC case for charging.

The hint in the review that Phil's mind was a closed book was that he disliked the eRoll form factor because it made him feel like a smoker rather than a vaper. Bully for him, but as someone who desperately needed the psychological comfort of the cig-alike form factor to be successful in quitting cigarettes I am particularly annoyed by this type of arrogance. :( It ill-serves beginning vapers.

There are several options for bringing along extra juice or eRoll cartridges. Joye has a new eRoll carry case that you can use to carry an extra battery. I use an Innokin U-Can on my keychain. OKC vapes has something similar, the SD Can.

Lots of places sell needle-nosed bottles. You transfer juice to a needle-nosed bottle to use at home or put one in an empty prescription bottle for on the go. Alternatively, people on the eRoll forum are using Altoids tins, Tic-Tac containers and small, inexpensive pill cases to carry extra cartridges.

If budget allows you might want to consider getting both the eRoll and the little Innokin iTaste 3.0. Your girlfriend can use the eRoll when she needs the cig-alike form factor and the iTaste when she wants less muted taste and more vapor. That's the combo that worked best for me when I first started vaping although a small VW device was not available so I used the slightly less beginner-friendly Twists instead.

i cant thank you enough great info and awesome ideas :D (its actually my gf's aunt not my gf) i found that pretty funny XD the girlfriends uses a vamo+protank.

the ucan keychain seems like a great idea i looked them up and i didnt see any on a chain does the little nipple on top have a hole to put a key ring through? the ucan look better built to me then the SD can.
Altoids tin is brilliant i was actually thinking one of those hard plastic womans wallets but figured it was too big, Altoids tin is perfect.

i will show her the itaste because iv had a few people mention them i doubt she will be into it but always worth a shot.
