Hello to everyone, Im new and seeking advise from other vapers with similar experiences or knowledgeable INFO.

Ive been vaping for the past 3 years without any problems, until recently i ended up in ER for a bleeding ulcer.
Turns out that it wasn't an open sore with heavy bleeding but i do have one with very light bleeding in the process of healing but
luckily my ulcer was not caused by vaping but On the other hand After my visit from the ER ive heard numerous things relating to not being able to vape because of certain chemicals and certain amount of nicotine that the juice might have that could aggravate an ulcer. Also i vape at 3mg and 6mg nothing higher and its been 3 weeks since my ER visit.

So my Questions are...

Is it still safe for me to continue vaping? and if so do i have to vape in moderation?

or avoid certain juices?

I Dont want to quit vaping:(

Hmmm, it could be the PG in the e-juice that's causing your problems. I've heard some people can get ulcers due to allergic reactions from juices with PG. My advice is, go to your doctor and test to see if you are allergic to PG. Try and get second opinions on why your ulcers are forming, who knows maybe it could be some really strong coffee :p I hope i've helped and I hope you can get to the bottom of this. Ulcers are nasty little buggers

Thanks :) for your guys feedback

Im for sure not allergic to PG but will see the Doctor just in case on that :) and ive been tested for H Pylori. and that doesn't seem to be the case. According to the Doc its in the Process of healing and no H Pylori... My main Concern are The juices since, ive heard some ingredients in them and large amounts of Nicotine can aggravate my ulcer and slow the healing but dont know whether thats true or false.

I don't believe vaping could have anything to do with ulcers. For one, in recent years, it was proven ulcers are caused by bacteria. We treat them with antibiotics now. Ironically enough, acid suppressers for acid reflux backfire on you and can allow the bacteria to grow. I used to take Prilosec daily for acid reflux but recently stopped and use an "as needed" pill because of that.

Now, I'm not a doctor (though you can't swing a cat in my family without hitting a healthcare professional), so take this for what it's worth. But, me, I'd suspect a medication before I'd worry about my vaping. As ulcers are caused by bacteria, some meds can cause the problem. Huh, so can smoking (is there anything it can't cause???).

But if I were you, vaping would be away down on the list of suspects of "things that could agitate an ulcer".
