ooops...I musta missed that here's to my limp sails  Edit: it's true that FT is hard to beat when it comes to price, but lately (if you put in a bit of time) I've seen a lot of good deals that ship within the US that come very close to FT pricing and you won't have to wait for weeks on
If you run into a great deal pass it on nobody likes to wait on a new toy less than me LOL!

I own a Vamo v3 and i love it. It has held up for about three months now with constant use at school and at work. Its great to be able to bring an extra 18350 battery with me and not have to worry about it dying on me. It performs very well and i do not regret buying it at all. If you are interested you can get a deal like i did at fasttech, it comes with the vamo, a good nitecore charger and 2 18650 batteries for 48 dollars and free shipping. You will not regret it. I would also go with the svd as well since they run about the same cost.

Since you're talking removeable battery, you're talking mods. You can either go VV, VV/VW, or mechanical. Or put something like a Kick in a mechanical to get VW. A huge variety to investigate :)

In the tube mods the SVD, Vamo are good units. But jump down and do some reading the VV thread: Variable Voltage APV Discussion

You'll also need at least two batteries, more is better, and a good charger. Don't skimp on any of those items. Something that runs 18650's, you can easily get good 2900 mA ones.

Or, get two (you said!) MVP2 units. But they're not replaceable, but are 2600 mAh rated, and are very well made.

Yes, 200 - 250 or so charge cycles is the usual rating. Probably the lower end chain vaping, as that would put extra stress on them.

Might just need to add extra flavoring to your mix?

Any hardware failure can cascade, and damage other parts. Or do you mean that the adjustment knob was so loose the setting changed in your pocket and you didn't realize it until vaping? The SVD has a pushbutton method to lock the current settings - vv or vw mode, and the setpoint in volts or watts. Some of the others may, as well.

First, thank you for so much useful information. :)
Second, yes, the twist button thing is so loose that the voltage slips to whatever it wants on one of them. The other holds firm.

Oh, and I'm currently buying Mt Baker Vapor with 5 extra flavor shots per bottle. I noticed that the sugar sweetened juices seem to have more flavor in general, but I was told they burn wicks fast. Is that true?

Hi espresso I got to second the SVD suggestion . I have both the Vamo and the SVD and while I like my Vamo the SVD is superior in it's construction . Also have you considered going 100%vg there are lots of vendors that offer that option , I regularly vape 100%vg from Heather's Heavenly Vapes in protanks with no problem . Their flavoring in their purity line is not pg based so you can get organic 100%vg if you want there's no reason to give up flavor or use watered down juice if you don't want to. You can put together a system with SVD or Vamo with 2 batteries and a charger for 60 bucks . I hope this helps .

I will have to try those juices! Thank you for all your help :)

I recommend the MVP. If you can get over the fact that it's a box (which should take about 2 minutes) you'll spend the rest of your time wondering why you didn't get one sooner. Very high value device with unmatched battery life. You can charge it from your computer, car, wall, and use it while it is charging. Variable voltage up to 5 volts, and either comes with 2 iclear 16 (very good clearo) or a single iclear30 (good as well). Extremely hassle free device and very well made imo. Hope this helps ya.

Whoops, missed the bit about removable batteries. If you don't mind me asking, is the reason you want removable batteries due to the experience with your ego setup? I thought I would hate the fact that the MVP didn't have removable batteries, boy was I wrong. I can charge it anywhere.

Yes the reason for wanting removable batteries is because of my ego experience. I don't mind having to charge at all, just the lifespan. I don't like the idea of having to replace an entire unit every 200 charge cycles. Apparently, that'd be very expensive for me lol. I've nearly killed these two in under four weeks, and I'm sure they've been through at least close to 200 charge cycles. I'd much rather replace a $15 battery or two (or 12 lol).

IME, yes, the sweeter darker juices do gunk coils faster. Some after one tankful. Also, ime, when they start to gunk, I find myself cranking up the power to get a good vape - until I'm at the point of burning the juice.

Usually, all it takes is a good cleaning and a dry burn to get it back to nearly new.

The other thing that affects flavor is the lack of PG, which "carries" the flavor better. But you've stated you have problems with that. Maybe you just need to thin your 100% VG a little less? I've also read of folk thinning with 1 or maybe 2 drops of vodka, which may be something for you to try. 30% water just seems awfully high, and sure to dilute the flavor.

I used to recommend the Vamo (I own the V2 and V3) but the quality seems to be hit and miss. My  now goes to the Sigelei ZMAX V3 as it gets rave reviews and the quality seems to be much better. Also need batts and charger. Ordered 3 just last week as Christmas presents.
