Hi guys, I've been vaping about 6 months.
I use WISMEC RX2/3 with 3 Battery and I use the VW mode,
My prefer setting is usually around 1-1.5 Ohm for coil
And 17.5-25 W (Depends on what Liquid I use and my Resistance atm)
Previously I use LG HG2 3000mAh, but now I think my battery often get hot if I vape continuously, and i think it's time to buy new battery.

From Mooch's Blog In My Opinion the best battery for my vape setting condition is Samsung 30Q / Sony VTC6 / LG HG2.
Maybe u guys veteran here about battery have a better recommendation please help me :)

* I usually vape +- 10-15mL liquid each day. So maybe if can I prefer 3000mAh battery. (not must)

All three of those batteries should be fine. High MAH will give you more vape time on a charge at your low wattage. I use LG HG2, Samsung 25R, and Sony VTC4 in mine. The VTC6 and the 30Q are even better. Those weren't out when I bought mine for the Releaux.

Are you sure it's your batteries that are getting hot? My Releaux RX200S (similar construction) was feeling hot the first week I vaped it. Since I'm a 10w vaper I wondered why the heck it was so warm. Thinking the batteries might be getting warm, I popped the battery cover and they weren't the source of the heat. It was the atomizer sinking heat into the mod.

The Releaux is mostly a plastic mod, so there isn't a lot of metal there to absorb or sink heat from the atomizer. Heat ends up making the display area warm. I bought a Wismec finned heat sink and installed it. That solved the heat problem since the heat sink radiates the heat to outside air and prevents the mod case from heating up.

There's SS, Copper, and Aluminum. All will sink and radiate heat. SS has more mass IMO, and that's what I bought. Copper and aluminum are soft. They have adjustable center contacts top and bottom to adjust for mod and atomizer contact.

Ah, so that's the case.
My battery not that hot, but kinda getting warmer (before i never check it though).
Maybe in my case is because I just bough silicon case for my RX2/3 about 2 weeks ago so the body of my RX2/3 feels hotter than usual.

If the batteries aren't hot, then the heat is likely from the atomizer. Using a silicon case holds in heat. I think the Releaux just gets warm because there's less mass than a steel or aluminum frame Mod. The heat sink helps a lot because the fins disperse the heat as it's sinked from the atomizer. I noticed a significant reduction in warmth after installing the heat sink.

There will be some battery warmth at 20-25 watts, but it should be minimal with the heat sink installed. When you install it, remember that it has adjustable screws to adjust contact with the mod and the atomizer. I had to turn those about a half turn outward to make contact. It's a one time adjustment that you will generally only do when you install it the first time.
