Yes, they have essentially the same functions, with minor differences.

The SVD telescopes for different battery configurations, the Vamo uses separate tube sections to do that.

The SVD has the capability to lock your settings so they can't accidentally be changed. The Vamo does not.

The SVD is heavier, so maybe a bit sturdier, and has better 510 connections. The Vamo is (in)famous for weak 510 connections, although that may not be across all makers or versions, and can be easily side-stepped with a thread adapter.

The SVD is (in)famous for a fire button that may either get "soft" (lose it's click) or fail. (Mine lost it's click about 3 months in, but still works fine. Others have reported the button failing totally.)

Since both are multi-button designs, I'm guessing that you like that interface more than the single button devices. You might also want to have a look at a Tesla, multi button, VV/VW, but not telescopic, 18650 only. Same price range, same features, and you can also lock the settings on it.
