Want to get fairly cheap mech mod and want to know which everyone thinks is better.Im curious what are the Pros and Cons for both devices.

Also heres what Im wondering when it comes to both for my personal vape setup I like:

1.Which do people find hits better? I use LR heads in my Protank and Evods and LR dripping attys and cartos.
2.Which looks and works better with Protank?
3.Which is better in 18350 mode?
4.Whats best deal for kit or putting together kit for either one? Always nice to save what I can :)

I pretty sure these are the two mods I have narrowed it down to.They both have side button which I know I want for sure and both seem like best match for Protank which is my main juice delivery system next to dripping attys and cartos which I use from time to time.

I dont know a whole lot about mech mods but do understand its more about what I use on it since they will both be around 3.7v.
Anyone with pics of either with Protank would be huge help in deciding.Any help would be great :) Thanks in advance

drawtube is a great device, very solid stainless steel construction, one of the best (IMO) flush 510 top caps to come out of china, shines up very nicely. I had no issues with mine, traded it for a natural and wish I would have kept the drawtube. Might get another one.

The contacts are brass under the plating in the drawtube (switch and 510 pin) but the bottom post and spring are stainless. I noticed no performance increase after sanding the contacts. Threads were very nice also.

Go check out Todd's reviews on YouTube. He reviews both. The draw tube looks like it's a better device. It's all stainless steel and seems to be more durable. I have the China gg and it's okay if not a little cheap feeling. It works well though.
I like that the drawtube is SS.I want something that feels well built and not really into the gold on the GG clone.

Should I expect to need to do anything to either one to make it hit better?

Any idea where I can get one? DV is sold out and Vaporbeast only has kit for $70 and I really only plan on using in 18350 mode so dont need batt and charger from them.

My friend owns a GG clone, and for unknown reasons, the other day, the button heated up and shocked him. I did some digging here on ECF, and apparently it has happened to others as well. I've never used one, but I think the Draw Tube sounds like it's definitely the better option of the two.

Thats what Im thinking. Now if I could only find one! I trying to sell or trade some stuff towards batts and charger so if anyone sees good price on body thats what Im looking for .Thanks guys for the help.

Hey Hey Vash! (Below R pics of KTS with Kanger Protank on top...you wanted 2 C right?)

Toddsreviews actually makes it rather clear that while the Drawtube is of fine build quality, it falls short in a number of areas. Now, the key point here relates both to what makes Toddsreviews so wonderful & fun, & how the Drawtube can overcome most of its shortcomings.

2+2=5 if you aren't both 1- an experienced vaper & 2- a confident & able tinkerer with the desire, equipment & time to work out The Drawtube's kinks.

The KTS-GGTS on the other hand works terrific out of the box, and with a very simple tweak - sanding off the chrome from the parts that contact to complete the circuit - awakens the inner-mule-that-kicks like a badass (pun, sadly, intended! lol ;-) Then, with a kick (if getting a Kick, get the Extension Tube for use with a Kick & 18650 Battery. KTS can be Kicked as is with 18350 & 500, but the Extension tube also allows the 650 kicked (while making the 500 Kicked easier to setup. The Extension Tube is actually just a 2nd Top Telescopic Tube. Toodsreviews has a follow up tutorial on the KTS Storm called Tinkering with The KTS Storm that does the same with it as he did earlier with the Sigelei #19!

I imagine that the Drawtube can work with a Kick, but it won't be as hassle free as the KTS; for the simple & irremediable reason that the Drawtube's section of inner tube that the Kick needs to nest into has threads going right thru. Since the Kick needs a smooth inner tube section to work best, this obstacle will need to be overcome for proper use with Kick. If Tinkerer, however, will Kick!

As far as looks, the KTS is hands down winner in my book. NO contest whatsoever. Love it so much I'm prolly getting a 2nd. I'll lewt you get your 1sat first though before I get my 2nd, second.

OK, time to go.

PS: My KTS Right Now (NOT Pictured Above, which is with Kanger Protank) slightly tinkered, with The Kick in 18650 with Kick Extension Tube; iClear30 @ 2.1 Ohm filled with Jabba's Hookah up top : Proof Positive God Exists & he's on my side...;-P lol

Hey Vash,

A few places, among the many out there; one is really cheap with the downside that it's a Pre-Order. Mind you I get the sense that it's not gonna take very long before it ends up being sent out to you, the other downside is they don't specify if it comes with the Extension Tube for the Kick @ 18650 (though you can end up getting that separate from another vendor at your leisure. Then there's this Vancouver Based Place Here where you can get it all for under $45. (All as in Chrome w Gold option as well as Extension Tube for The Kick @ 18650). There are other places but those two were at the front of my memory cache lol ;-)

Happy Shopping & don't hesitate to ask more ?

Vaperific Dusky Twilight to you fellow Vaper!

PS: OH yeah, and there's also this place. It offers any option you want & have pretty much the same shipping $ range than teh Vancouver Place...

Thanks for the links.Yeah I want to find US vendor so I can get it cheaper and faster :) No need for kick extenstion right now but nice option especially witht he kick clone coming out.Would love to crank it up without having to spend more on kick than device .Think I will just use in 18350 mode for now.

How to I make it work better? What exactly Im I needing to do to it ?

Hey Vash!

Hope you haven't pulled the trigger yet cuz I stumbled across THIS! That's the deal; only drawback is there isn't the Gold/Chrome option & no Extension Tube for 18650 Kick (but you could get that elsewhere eventually).
