Anyone know cheapest place to get gold and chrome GG clone in stock in US?

I don't know about the US, but you can get a full kit at fasttech for $43.90 shipped after using coupon code CPASTE13SPRING. I have used them before and they are reliable. Should take about a week to get it.

If you don't mind waiting put yourself on the notify list at Hoosier Vapes. You can get it there for about $25. They seem to restock every 2-3 weeks. It's been about 2 weeks since they got them in last so I would think any time now.

Yea would rather US vendor. Seems my best options is vaportek or hoosiers and just wait for them to get it in. If anyone finds anywhere else let me know thanks :)

Im kicking myself because few places had them and once I decided I wanted mech mod everywhere is sold out!!! LOL

Dunno who is telling you the Drawtube is bad. I am a huge fan of Todd's reviews and I'm pretty positive that the issues with his were a one off. Anyone who owns it, loves it.

I have some high end mechanical mods and my drawtube still get used every, single day. No tweaking needed, just clean the contacts every now and then. Add an RSST and for around $70 you have a banging little economical set up. The Drawtube also looks great with 22mm RBA's.

But...everyone will tell you what THEY have is the greatest. You have to find out for yourself.

I understand your point on what everyone has they like best.It does seem that GG clone is cheaper than drawtube and good place to start when it comes to mech mod. What kind of deals have you seen on drawtube?

Vash, I don't know of any good deals on it since I stopped looking for it once I got one. I do know however that I recently saw a kit for it on Vapor beast. For some reason they call it the Rapture mod, a kit with batteries and a charger. Dunno if you need that, but it's $75 shipped. Which isn't that great a deal. Seems they are sold out most places.

I can tell you I own the Drawtube and use it my printing shop every day. I wouldn't want my other, more expensive mods to fall to the concrete. I have held the KTS in my hand though and the difference is substantial. As always YMMV. Ones man treasure is another mans trash I guess. I would say that out of all the "cheaper" mods, the drawtube out of the box, is the best one out there that I have messed with. It's kind of under the radar. I guess it's a bit more the drawtube in kit form.

Here's another review on it. For the record I did sand the contacts down to brass, I don't notice any difference. Be warned, mechanical mods can be a slippery slope into debt :). I however try to get the better one that I can afford, just feels like I save in the long run. Also- Don't get too caught up in the numbers out there. Get what you want and enjoy it!

Thanks man .Seeing as I dont have a lot to spend and need batts and charger too will probly go with the GG clone based on cost and then maybe pick up drawtube down the road. Then I can always sell which ever I dont like and be set with batts and charger for one :)

hi guys. i owned both KTS & Drawtube Smart Mod (called DS Mod here). i can say the DS is the winner hands down. it's sturdier & the built quality is much better than KTS. The KTS 510 thread just died on me after 2 months or so..YMMV :) The DS Mod is quite popular here that ppl start making n selling copper contacts to improve its firing.

and btw there's another gg clone hitting our shores. the MKB-TS mod. there are various versions (dang they almost look like the real thing!) :) reviewed by most users better than DS MOD. within the same price range IIANM

heres my last pic of my DS Mod setup.

Yeah not a fan of the KTS. Drawtube is definitely a winner in the budget category. Not sure why it doesn't get much love.

The MKB-TS or whatever it is, is 2X-3X the price of the Drawtube here in the States though. Once you get that high for a clone, you may as well just keep going for something with real quality - Poldiac, Atmomixani, Atmizoo, Paps, etc etc etc.

One thing I learned real early is that whenever I tried to take the fastest and cheapest solution with this stuff, I always end up spending more in the end. I don't mean go out and go into debt. I mean many times I wished I had waited a week and spend the extra $20-$30. because in the end, I try the cheap option, it breaks and THEN I have to go back and get the one I really wanted. So I end up buying both. YMMV!
