Ok I am looking to get my first real e-cigarette I have one from the mall I got like 6 months ago but it sucks does not put out much vapor so I am looking to up grade. So I was thinking EGO or DURA from janty which is better I am looking for some thing that puts out monster vapor and is going to last. So does anyone have any opinions? Also does direct dripping shorten the life spane of a atomizer?

Thanks

If you think (for now) that it needs to look like a cigarette then the answer will be different.
But if you don't worry about things like that then the eGo is your best bet.

Although I would recommend a Chuck instead.
But that's just me.
:)

No, it most definitely does not.

What is a Chuck and where do I get one?
Hey, don't take my word for it!
:D

There are a lot of good mods out there these days, and the eGo sounds really sweet.
I just don't like that you're tied to their batteries.

But if you're interested in a Chuck, which is what you see two of pictured in my signature below, then you can find out more about them at www.thagbuilt.com or in the Chuckleheads subforum, or in the Thabuilt supplier subforum.

Get them both. :)

I hear the Ego is a great device, but like others, I also don't like having to buy their own batteries, it's too expensive.

With the Chuck you get to make your own design to go on it. Just send in a picture you like and Jeff does the rest. It's a great vapor machine.

The Super-T SIX is the best IMHO. Just unbeatable. With a brass tip for dripping no less.

Good luck, you're on the right path!

I went for the 'emulate a cigarette' route initially. In my case a 601 and my wife a 401. I now have a Protege and am far happier with it. It's partially the extra battery life, which is awesome, but it probably has more to do with the 510 atomiser which vapes like a fog machine!

I still use them both; however, and get enjoyment from them both. If cost isn't an issue, I'd endorse thewomenfolk's suggestion and go for both of them. Half the fun is watching your friend's expressions when they see the e-cig for the first time. They tend to be more impressed with the looks of the fake cig than the suspicious looking '....', as they call my Protege. :D

A few of my friends have ordered their own but all have gone for the ciggie looking device rather than the Protege, despite the obvious advantages of the latter. My wife is going for the Ego, as she thinks it looks 'sexier'. lol

I'm not arguing... ;)

Yeah I got a super six on order..the waiting is killing me..but it's giving me plenty of time to track down good batteries to use for it..

I also got an eGo..and it's a great device..I didn't have to wait 2 weeks..and it's compact and I like the fact that the atty/battery connection is protected by the cone..that adds a durability factor..though I do like the customization of a chuck..unfortunately for me form and function comes first over fashion due to my line of work..

lol..but she's right..it is a sexy little beast...though it's gonna be worlds of difference for her than the 401 size wise..to me it feels like a stubby little cigar in the hand..but quite comfortable..

Personally if looks and size didn't matter I'd go with a Prodigy V2 or a Silver Bullet, but since I wanted something small, nice to look at, and has a long battery life, I went with the eGo. And the batteries aren't that expensive, they're only $23 at Totally Wicked. And consider in, if one of the mods breaks after the warrenty period you have to pay to have it fixed or replaced, if the eGo break, all you have to do is buy a new battery.

I do think I'll end up getting a mod in the future, just none of them seems to fit my needs at this time. I think if I didn't read and see so many complaints about the button on the Protege I'd own one of them, I still might get one though.
