I'm so proud of myself for being cig free, I don't want to screw this up now. I'd like to try a cig again maybe in a few months, but I think at this point it's important for me not to smoke, or am I being too hard on myself till I find my perfect set up?

Too much pressure *can* be counterproductive, I agree; I didn't fully switch from smoking until I had been vaping for about a month, because it was like an experiment for me, to see if I could do it. Just keep in mind that there is a difference between a thought and a craving; if it's a thought, you can distract yourself from it and it goes away; if it's a real craving, it's very hard to focus on ANYTHING except that NEED -- if it's the latter, there is no need to make yourself miserable, go smoke! Because if you just keep vaping, you WILL get to the point where you just prefer the vape -- it happens over and over, in differing lengths of time for all of us, but it does arrive.

I just started by trying to replace as many cigarettes with vaping as I could, comfortably. Many times I would say, well I'd like a smoke, but I'll vape now, and later if I really want one, I'll go smoke." And sometimes that "later" would never arrive. As long as it was always my choice, my option, it was just fine, and finally my choice was to vape, because it's just better. aAnd I still have my last open pk in a ziplock in the freezer, so it remains my free choice, always -- I choose to vape.

I agree with AndriaD... take your time do what feels right for you... its not a competition with everyone else as to how fast/quick you can get away from ciggies... I took my time and was doing dual usage for several months.... I smoked for 41 yrs, a few more months isnt going to make a bit of difference.... if the math is correct about how many ciggies one smoked and the years of that number of ciggies smoked shortens ones life, I should have been gone about 9 yrs ago....

I honestly don't crave cigarettes anymore at all, but sometimes I choose to have one which is a nice new freedom, also I don't enjoy them as much which is why one is fine, the other day I only smoked a half and snubbed it out. Vaping has changed me to where I no longer like or crave cigs, but I'm still trying to figure out what will provide me with a more satisfying vape experience. Right now I'm considering the istick50 with a Kanger Mini. Thoughts on this anyone? I'd already have it but locally it's twice the price as online and I'm not buying more gear to I find what is a bit more future proof for me and where I may end up in my vaping quest. Also my locals are all very nice, I feel bad not buying from them but I keep feeling they are steered me towards what they want to sell, rather than what I need. I asked about the istick 30 and 50 when they sold me the 20 and they were against those 2 (threading issues). Two weeks later they tried to sell me the 30, Which made me a little mad because I would already be at the right place if they had sold me what I originally wanted, then again they didn't have the 30 in stock and were probably trying to clear out the 20's. Even as green as I still am at 6 weeks I could set a beginner up much better than I was set up.

Me Personally........

I'd ditch the Clearo's and go get a Kayfun...

Keep the mod its good.

It'll take ya an hour to figure out how to build it, 2 weeks to tweak your build and 20 bucks buys a years worth of wick/wire. (Youtube search Kayfun builds and watch them ALL!)(start with 28 ga wire and cotton....You'll want to keep your coils above 1 ohm.)

Then ya just gotta find good juice.( which is also lacking if your not happy with your vape)

+1 or +1,000,000 for the Kayfun. It's still the best vape I've ever enjoyed. The Magma's vape is just as good, but there's a certain unavoidable fiddle factor with any RDA; with the kayfun, fill it and never have to think about it until it's getting low again -- the total lack of having to fiddle with it, once you get the build and the wicking down pat, is the 2nd best thing about a Kayfun -- the 1st best is always gonna be the way it vapes.

And the KFL+ are now very cheap, since the K4's came out; I just got a new EHPro KFL+ in "gold" (actually it looks like brushed brass), at sweet-vapes.com, for $24.95.

Fiddle factor....I couldnt have said it better myself.

Load and go for a week....I re-wick every Sunday because I want too not because I have to. I've also re-wicked this thing sitting in rush hour traffic. (Just to see if I could.)

Its not rocket surgery either.
