Yes, maybe this would be the issue pt, I forgot that. The liquid made a connection between the 2 poles and a short happened. Is your button ok and the spring on the front cap too?
You will need a simple multimeter for ampere, volts and Ohms. You will meassure the atty on the ohms place on the multimeter. If it shows a number between 2,5 and 3,5 your atty is ok. If it shows 1 or 0 or nothing then atty is dead. The multimeters costs starts from about 5-10 dollars. Dont buy an expencive one, its useless for what we need it for.

my springs and bttn look fine. it is working fine but still confused how i blew so many atty's last night.
i got my meter out of the garage and installed a new battery in it.
set it to ohms. read the long sticky on testing ohms, followed info and i guess i am hexed because i can't get anything but 0 on all of my attys, even the working ones.
obviously the meter is not working correctly and i can't find the directions.
oh well. i am going to have another look at the cap of the ggt to see if i can find something.

Use your meter and touch the black probe to the inside top of the atty threads. Touch the red probe to the center of the atty inside the threads.
thanks stormy. i did that. i read the entire sticky that stared with your questions. meter isn't moving on any atty. i can't find the directions for the unit but followed the thread. just an unlucky weekend for me. at least i am still cig free which is more important than the little things.
If you read that thread you saw that I was trying to use my voltmeter without a battery. Have you checked your battery in your meter?
I would but I think Rob is afraid I am going to get cold or something. He keeps yelling something about stockings. I have warm socks on already. I don't know what he is talking about.
I hate seeing him so upset. I think I better stay away.
I hope they show up soon. My drive to OK isn't too far either.
I am at 6v on my ggt with 18 mg ecopure english toffee, praying my remaining 2 attys last a few more days
I will say a prayer for your attys too.
Maybe you have set the multimeter in wrong number of ohms pt91. Set it to the smallest scale. If this didnt work, set it to the next one.

My meter only has one setting for ohms. I gave up on it for a while since I was getting frustrated and that I am trying to avoid frustrastration.
I ordered attys from a few vendors hoping that one of them delivers quickly. Once I get a second GG (slim I think) and a good supply of attys I won't hv to worry about being w/out the vapor.

I am sure everyone understands your frustration - we all have bad vaping days from time to time - no matter how much kit we have with us. These things are sent to try us
.As I said - it happens to all of us - I got myself into a right state the other day trying to get a decent throat hit - I went through many many battery, atomiser, AFS, juice and GG combinations before I realised that I was just having a bad vaping day and nothing was gonna do it for me. I couldn't even get any joy with 36mg at 7.4V (and I am normally a 12-18mg at 3.7V vaper).
I've been pretty ill, the last few days so that probably has something to do with it too.
Exactly - my point being that some days are just bad vaping days and nothing's gonna do it for you on those days.

Like today for me.... OMG this morning I was driving to work with one eye open... the bottle of juice was brand new... trying to drip on my Slim the darn dropper top came off and i had 10ml of juice in my lap... SOB i didn't want to vape at all today. It was almost a NIC OD for me... All that juice soaked into my leg cause there was no place to pull over and clean up plus I was running late to work. YIKES... always make sure the top is secure before drippng and driving. I think it is going to be the AFS or nothing in the car from now on....
So yes I know exactly what you are saying Lisa. You just can't get satisfied some days. Nothing will do!!!
