Need help figuring out this ohm/voltage thing...

Hey Guys the higher the resistance the higher the heat. Think of it as friction more friction more heat. You had me thinking but a check on the web confirmed .

Try a 1.25 ohm LR carto on 5 volts and a 3.4 ohm carto on the same 5 volts.

One will get really, really HOT !!

Sorry if I missed somewhere, but is there "magic" ohm value L M or H to use with VV devices??

There isn't, for me at least, a "Magic Ohm" that is best for ALL Attys and ALL Cartos with ALL e-liquids.

But there is a "Magic Watts" range.

Also, even though my Provari can do Anything that I want for All my e-liquids, I still use an eGo when I'm out and about. So I buy 2.6~2.8 ohm CE2's because they work best on my non-adjustable eGo for most of my e-Liquids.

BTW - What does L,M and H stand for?

1.25 ohms @ 5 volts yields 20 watts. And that is HOT.

where as...

3.4 ohms @ 5 volts is about 7.35 watts which is reasonable.

I like the 2.6~2.8 ohms but by most people’s standards, I tend to vape at lower watts than most.

Good, because I didn't know what to get and all 2.6-2.8 were sold out, so I figured that what
most people use.Then I got one below just in case. So I guess, this is good starting point from where I can play then with VV to see what works best for me... thanks

Good info, I've only been at it a month and i could not figure it out.. so i just got stuff and prayed it didn't blow up in my face!
But over a few weeks i noticed some cartos didn't work right on my little battery.. so i got a bigger one!

I like 2.6~2.8 ohms for some flavors, and 2.4~2.6 ohms for others, on the same PV.

Try this, 2 ohms lower then the volts +/- .3 so 5 volts = 3 ohms and 3.7 = 1.5....for me thats the sweet spot

Another thing is that attys/cartos can vary wildly ohm wise. But with a VVPV it really doesn't matter. So if I buy an atty or a pack of CE2's and the ohms are a little low, no big deal. I just boost the voltage on my Provari slightly.

When it comes time to buy another kit or replace some batteries, consider going with a VVPV. You will not regret it.
