Hello all,

New to the forum & vaping and I have a quesiton in regards to the filling/refilling of a blank cartomizer.

I recently got a Halo G6 with the blank cartomizers, and 18mg Nicotine e juice.

I have filled it the first time with 20 drops as instructed, but is that 20 drops irregardless of what nicotine strength you get? I know if you drop pure nicotine on your skin you can get pretty ill, is it the same if you overfill a cartomizer?

What is the prime amount of 18mg E juice drops to fill a blank cartomizer & to refill as needed.

I know it may sound stupid to some, but I'm trying to change my method of smoking, not OD on it, LOL.

Please let me know, any help is greatly appreciated. Sorry if this has been covered 1,000,000 times before.

Strength of your Nic doesn't really matter. the 20 drops is a good starter number to fill a carto with. After that 20 absorbs in, you may need to add a few more, or possibly that initial 20 may flood the carto a bit...it's going to depend on the thickness of your juice and how big your drops are. 20 drops is a good easy number...that's all.

Welcome! :D

20 drops is 20 drops. The carto vaporizes the liquid at the same rate, regardless of what's in it.

If you overfill a carto, it'll flood, and it'll make gurgling noises when you use it. If that happens, you take it off the battery, and blow into it, so the extra falls out (use a napkin/paper towel).

Why did you pick 18 mg/mL ? (curious)

Picked the 18mg cause I am a pack a day conventional smoker and have been feeling like $#!t recently... Not too into patches, or gums... It's more of an action based fixation to me.

Figured with the 18mg's it should offset the cravings pretty well. The Logic cigs I would buy in the store would last me about 2 days, but it was $10 every 2 days, so I figured screw it... I'll get a refillable one and cut these costs and go for the quit.

I think I actually just figured out this whole mg's of Nicotine thing...

Here's what I gather... There is 21mgs of Nicotine in a pack of Cigs, roughly 1mg of nicotine per cig.

The 18mgs that you fill a cartomizer with symbolizes the 18mgs of nicotine that will take in from first filling to last toke...

These are just assumptions... I wouldn't go quoting me yet. LOL

Hi Brandeezy, welcome to ECF

it's just a ratio between "don't flood it / don't let it go dry"
refill time will depend on cartomizer resistance (1.8,2.5,3.0Ω)-battery output (3.3v-4.2v) then how often you 'draw' on it...

you'll know when it tastes different to just add a few drops, then it will become natural...

Good Luck and VAPE-ON

I believe that's correct from what the "people who know" say

what I found helpful at first was to have not only flavors around, but some different levels of 'nic'
I started low then moved up...
I heard where some people get nic-sic because they went to strong at first, but only a few

so it's not only flavor but nic strength that you will taylor to your liking... :)

is very important for you to watch videos of the proper way to fill a carto. the problem with the carto is that you can't see the liquid in it. so by adding just a few drops you would probably end up vaping the filler material instead of the actual liquid. cartos need to be well saturated ( but not to much ) to work properly.

If you ask me 18 mg/ml means every ml contains 18mg Nicotine. be careful at that. Hence the scale on cartos
