Need help from cake batter lovers

Well guys, the more I vape this diesel cake batter the more I don't like it.
It kinda has an after taste that reminds me of how pencil shavings smell.
I did get 12 nic. So if any one tries it, I would say 6nic max.

For reference im vaping in a nautilus with bvc coils.
Im gonna have to try it in a carto and see how it tastes in that. Sometimes cartos eliminate funny tastes.

I doubt I will finish this bottle. There is just a cheap after taste to it.
There is a ton of vapor.

Who knows maybe it needs a longer steep. I won't give up on it yet. It is close. It does taste like vanilla cake batter, it just has some sort of chemical after taste to it that im not fond of.

I would prefer to vape one of my butterscotch's.

Im going to clean my tank and load up some ec blends.
I got two samples of cake batter. One in 12 and 6.

Ec blends is a cleaner tasting cake batter, but very similar to diesel's
I will see what happens to ec blends over the next week. But I would guess they use the same flavoring.
And that would be capella's cake batter. I bought that flavoring but havnt mixed anything up yet. But all three smell exactly the same.
I would say ec blends is softer in flavor. So the after bite isn't as significant. That may change over the next week.

To be honest I am having better luck mixing NLV butterscotch with NLV vanilla strait.
Tastes pretty close to cake batter to me. With no funny chemical taste.
I have nitelite vaper caramel reef on the way, I will try that mixed with vanilla and update.
From scouting diy cake batter recipes they all claim that you mix caramel and vanillas together, so I thought I would try that out myself and see.

The butterscotch and vanilla tastes a lot better than any cake batter premix I have tried yet.

I ordered Capella flavoring, cake batter, and vg with nic and some pg from wizard labs.
Mixed it up at 10% flavoring. And it was sooo much better than any cake flavor I bought yet.
I think they are trying to make the flavor too strong which is leaving this chemical taste.


If I had to choose, I would go with ec blends.
But I have been happier with caramel reef and butterscotch from NLV.

Let me know what you order and what you think of the flavors you get. Im just curious

Don't let that deter you from trying diesel again. They've got some excellent flavors

Thanks for the updates!! Looking into trying to finally DIY myself some juice, and will probably want some cake recipes..Might try that EC Blends or Diesel flavor too. Good luck!
