ePuffer has agreed to send me a replacement for my defective ePuffer Classic, of a different model that will supposedly work better (if anyone knows about their Mini, please inform me before I make the decision to switch them incase that model works very poorly as well).

Well, they have told me I must send them the defective model first, which I am prepared to do. However, they also stated they will not pay the charge, should Customs require one. I live in the USA and they are in Ontario, Canada.

I went to the Post Office today, and the man at the counter informed me that he did not know anything about Customs. (wouldn't you think that would be part of the basic knowledge instilled on a Post Office worker?) Well, I told him the company wouldn't foot the charge should there be one, and he wanted me to fill out the little sheet anyway, slap it on and send it off. Are you kidding me? Why would I do that if I don't know whether or not they're going to charge me and how I can pay for it? This guy was really getting to my nerves. Well, as I learned the place was closing in 8 minutes, and it's true that I have no car and have to walk anywhere in town I need to get or ride the bus ($2.50 in every direction since my boyfriend comes everywhere with me--I make $150 a week). So it's not convenient for me to come back later especially since it's a WEEKEND AFTER TODAY (can't call Customs and probably can't ship). So the guy says I can call them in the Blue Pages. I ask if there's a phone book I can use as he's swiping my debit card to pay for the envelope I already wrote on and sealed-- the guy just ignored me. "Sir?" "yeah I'll get it to you in a second". I wait as valuable time is ticking. "Oh, they're closed already." I say the F word and mutter as I leave. About five minutes later I'm at a phone book and look it up anyway to see the hours of operation. As I call on my cell I see that it's 5:00 on the dot. The recording states their hours of operation are between something and 5:00.

IF THE GUY WOULD'VE LET ME USE THE PHONE BOOK I could've made the call and sent it out!!! OMG I was so irrate.

Well, it was a $90 purchase originally, I don't know the weight probably 1 lb and it was an e-cig kit--no cartridges sent back. What do you think customs is going to do? Do I need to call them or should I just ship it tomorrow?

1. Go to post office

2. Fill out the paperwork

3. Mail back.

It will cost you about $10.50 if you use a USPS Global Priority Envelope.

Unless you have a global priority FLAT RATE ENVELOPE with you, you are going to have to get one from the post office.

//the end
//yes, everyone has to fill out the customs declaration, and no, you don't have to pay customs. The person getting the package might.

Write "vaporizer - warranty repair" value $10 on it
If you have an RMA number, write that on the outside of the package clearly.

If you have a copy of your original invoice, or can print it from the web, even better. Put that in the box too, with a note stapled to it addressed to Epuffer stating what's it's broken, and what's wrong with it. Put the RMA number on that too.

If customs doesn't understand what is written on the tag, or if they flip a coin - god knows - then they'll open the package up to look.

If you don't have documentation INSIDE that package that matches the outside, then they are free to "REVALUE" it, resulting in charges.

If you follow those directions, there should be no charges, even if they open it.

I think ePuffer is saying if customs charges them to "receive" the package, they won't pay it. Then it will be sent back collect (still broken) to incineradma.

If it's not labelled properly, there WILL be charges due on receipt.

Sticking it in a mailer and writing "XXX" value $100 is actually guaranteeing there will be charges on receipt.
