no sorry that wasnt clear...just meant generally in this thread. I have always been under the impression that AW were the "safest" battery and the highest quality...

I can say this with certainty that Efest IMR 18650 2500mah batteries are as safe as AWs or Sonys. I have used all three batteries. They last a helluva lot longer also.

FIY:

The Origin is a 21mm mech. It's an odd diameter considering everything else and toppers tend to be 22mm. Pretty much nothing is going to line up flush with it.

Also, you can get 100' spools of kanthal directly from the manufacturer for dirt cheap. It's the exact same thing.

Unless there is some reason you just don't want to use eBay, but you can get 50ft of 28ga kanthal for $6

Do yourself a favor and buy 100 ft of wire. You are going to burn through 10 ft so fast learning. Don't be frustrated and pick up more. It's cheap.

I'll chime in with "get 100' of wire" also. Look for TEMCo-Industrial-Power-Supply (just Google TEMCo) or buy from their eBay store. You can get 100' of 28, 30 and 32 gauge for less than $20 shipped.
