+1 on the eGo. TV sells a knock-off of the original Joye eGo (not a prob), but the atty resistance is def diff than an original Joye atty (diff in the amount of vapor). I'd suggest finding some lo-resistance attys to go w/. Look for vendors who sell sample packs of diff flavored e-liquid.

Sierra, many of us started like you by paying way to much for not the best e-cigs. What you got is a 401/2 clone Health-E-Cigarette. I have a few and it's the batts that go bad first. DealExtreme has a single cig kit for about 10 bucks.

Your charger will work on 401/2s if? the charger is not what went bad. You can get 401 batts for about 10 bucks and attys for 7 or so. Ecicsupply and Litecigusa have them as do many suppliers here. Many long time vape folks still use their 40xs. The 402s have more the feel of a reg cig but the batts don't stay charged quite as long as the 401s. Good flavor and reasonably dependable. And, their cheep.

But hey, if you can afford to get an Ego that would be a good step in the right direction.

Good luck! I have been enjoying my Joye 510 once I got over the initial "OMG WHat is all this?!?" shock. If you need ideas for liquids at reasonable prices these forums are full of it!

Also on another note...that seller I got my ecig from says that he's not replacing parts because I bought it at a promotional price :Sadface: So no hope of a replacement so I'll prolly just save up for a new kit before I spend $22 bucks on a replacement addy.

id get a riva/ego next w/ manual batts and cartomizers. i think thats the easiest setup for a new user. dont have to worry about flooding, leaking etc... nice flavor and vapor production.

I saw that as well...I'm def thinking of this seeing as my next purchase I don't have to much to spend...I need something to get me by for the next few weeks. All day I've had a empty feeling sitting at my computer without my ecig. I'm really excited to try the Atomic Cinnacide liquid (I'm crazy for cinnamon everything) So I'll prolly get one of those from tasty vapor so I can get the flavor I wanna try with the kit (S&H Savings) I'm sure I'll move onto the bigger brand name kits as soon as I have some time to save the $$$. I can feel this turning into a full time hobby (In a very good way. ^.~)

did you get any juice with it or just prefilled carts? I had this problem at the beginning the juice in some prefilleds is too thick to drip properly I think. If you have some juice put a couple of drops directly on to the heater thingy and try that. if still no vapour then the atty is doa

Thanks for this info! Sadly my pv is a auto so that would'nt work for me. I did talk more with the people I bought mine from though and they said that they will switch it out for me if I ship back my atty since I'm a new customer. Great choice Sierra! Ive had my eGo for a little over 3 months and I love it! They also have eGo cartomizers for it which will make your eGo a 2 piece. And..you wont have to refill that much. Good luck I know you will enjoy it!!

Yea if I sell some stuff tonight I'll be good to go on ordering more parts...if not I'll still have 9 bucks to my name lol. Can't go wrong with the 20 dollar 510? 501? idk yet I get them confused set. I'll be shoppin around alot of sites the next few days see what I can find that will get me up and running quickly and inexpensively. Yea I was lovin it but it broke within 2 days...Wish I got more time to play with it. The first day I got it I only smoked two analogs...the second day one...and today I feel like crap and have been smokin analogs like normal.

Yea I had no idea parts go out so quick or I would have been more prepared. The guy I bought my stuff from said it would last a year no prob and not to worry about it...so I guess I just stepped into vaping uninformed. Analogs are my solution for now but I'll be done with them once I get a reliable set up. I mean at least the intent to quit is there which it hasn't been for a long time.

good luck sierra...mine broke within the first week too and it really sucks. but mine was the battery and id put it on the charger it would show a full charge....just a dead battery. but yours sounds like the atty cause thats the thingy that heats up. i hope it gets fixed soon

Update: The site I got my stuff from is ElectronicCigSource.com The Cheapest Quality Electronic Cigarette on the web! Sadly this is what I bought for way to much DealExtreme: $10.20 Electronic Cigarettes with Chargers and 10-Refills Set (110V~240V AC) (I know that's my exact set-up plus if you look at the picture of the directions.....lol....I have those same "I don't know English" directions. Just thought I'd put a beware sign on this company...

Now I know just how badly I got ripped by not doing the proper research. On a good note tho these are pretty cheap until I save up for my 510 or ego
