When I changed mine, I removed the screw that holds the plastic "black box" on, and removed the "black box". Then I removed the old tube, and replaced it with the new tube, making sure it was as far up on the metal nipple as possible. Then I replaced the "black box", being careful with the screw so it didn't get stripped, then replaced the cap on the tube and done. The new tube should be tight at the top. If it isn't, I would PM Rob.

The problem with my mini is, that the little metal nipple is to short for installing the new tube. Most of the nipple is covered with the flexible plastic thing, that isolates the powerbridge (button to 510 connection). omg my english is terrible!!!

Yours Fippes

PS: The diameter of the new tubing is okay. I dont need a smaller one.

So sounds like you must take the screw out of the plastic and remove the plastic cover. Then you can fit the tube up more on the nipple. Be careful taking out the screw and putting it back in. It connects at the back. It is very easy to strip the threads.

Hi Karen, the screw is allready off. The problem is the connection to the little metallic nipple (tube connection) under the 510 connection. this nipple is covered with flexible plastic. so the tube can't get a tight connection. I will post a picture soon

Hello Fippes you need to remove any excess tubing that may still be on the brass tube .The new tube should slide on push it up until it makes contact with the insulator on the firing pin plate .Put a drop of super glue on the shaft before you slide the new tube on

Hi Robert, thx for this hint. I will try it )
