thought I would chime in about the toptank mini.

Like mentioned, updated version of subtank mini. New ssocc prebuilt coils. Main difference is that it's a topfill design. No juice flow control.

Toptank mini also comes with a single cool RBA section.

Here's my personal opinion. It's a nice beginners tank, never had it leak on me using the new round looking ssocc prebuilt coils. Flavor is decent, vapor production decent. Need at least a 60W range to play with and settle with what u like (around 40 for me). M

What I disliked about the prebuilt coils was that the juice hole on the coil sits in the middle. This means that you won't really be able to finish all your liquid in your tank before you need to refill (or you could try tilting the tank when juice gets low). Just a minor hassle for me. Now it's sitting on the shelf.

Someone mentioned the crown tank. Was my 2nd subohm tank before I started building. Loved it. Great flavor, decent vapor production. No hassle leak free dry tank.

I would recommend the crown tank with a box mod that fires up to 60W at least.

I would look at the Toptank OP or Topbox (the set with the mod) instead. It's a newwer vbersion of the Toptank that adds topfill to the feature set.

But have a look at the new Cuboid mini kit as well, or if you prefer replaceable batteries the Evic mini instead.

Good luck!

60W..?

My experience varies greatly it seems.

I've never used the stock coils that came with the Toptank but went straight to the RBA and vape in TC mode only and I've never seen it use more then 20 to 30 watts or so and that's only on start-up, after that it throttles down quiet a lot. I roll twisted titanium coils of 2 strands of 28g ti at around 0,4ohm by the way.

The juice holes could be lower though, I agree. But it's not a huge deal to me, when the juice gets to the level of the holes I would want to top up anyways personally.

Can't remember off the top of my head which prebuilt a i caped (lowest kanthal they had I think). Vaped it around 35 to 40.

Reason I said 60 was because in case he/she wanted a second tank that required more power his/her mod would remain viable.

seeing as how most of these new box mods this year are at least 60W with a single battery why not future proof a bit and go with more power in case needed further down the road.

I have the TFV4 regular and mini. It's good, but the RBA sections I have seem to have crummy screws. Strips really easily. As someone else said, it really goes through the juice, so I prefer the RBA setup so I can vape at 25 watts or so. The quad coil needs about 60 watts just to even heat up, usually vape that around 80 watts. Battery killer.

I would recommend if you go TFV4 get the full sized version. Some of those coils Rip through the eJuice.

I feel like they should be selling the kit for more than $50 and put a full size tank on there, the mod is $40 most places so I think I would pay $10 to get even a frustratingly small TFV4 (2ml is ridiculous).

I personally own 1) Kangertech Kbox Mini 50w with a Kangertech Subtank Mini Clearomizer which is housing a Kangertech RBA running 0.6ohm Kanthal at 23w.
2) Innokin iTaste CoolFire IV 40w with a Kangertech Subtank Mini Clearomizer which houses a factory OCC 0.5ohm coil head running at the full 40w.
3) Sigelei FuChai 200w VW/TC with a Herakles Sense Plus running at 0.2ohm and also a GeekVape Griffin RTA which runs at 0.1ohm between 225°C-300°C
My point being I love each unit for different reasons. Different flavors react different in each unit. Leaks come and go with these things and can sometimes drive you nuts. Batteries be cautious as you were adviced, I use Sigelei 35A, AWT 40A, Panasonic's 30A my only complaint is the Panasonic's wear down the quickest even with a higher mAh rating than the Sigelies. Different strokes for different folks, the joy of the hobby is finding your place in what you like not what someone else likes, taste vary. Good luck but mostly have fun!

I myself like the lower watt units for what they do, which is rather well I will say, but I now prefer the VW/TC mods due to the ability of being about to use all the coil materials - Kanthal, S.S., Ti, Ni 60, Ni80, Ni200 (which I am informed pure nickel).
That Kangertech 75w with the Subtop Clearomizer looks like a nice kit. Myself I looking at a Chiefton 220w/TC unit for my Griffin RTA which I want to try the S.S. Alien Clapton coils which should take me again to the 0.1-0.2ohm range. Like my presence known with the huge clouds but more of a flavor chaser that a cloud chaser, lol.

Can you put prebuilt coils in an RTA? Would that defeat the purpose of getting one? I have been wanting the good airflow of a Lemo 2 or something similar but I don't know how to build coils yet.
