Need help on buying my first kit

Yes pre-made coils can be used. I use them but moving on to winding my own soon, supplies are on order as we speak. Now pre-made atomizer heads will not work in a RTA. Some tanks will provide the use of other coils heads not made for them but I feel funny about using a coil head in a tank in wasn't designed for.

Do I need an ohm reader if I'm using prewound coils? Do I just stick some organic cotton in and go? If so I might look into a squonk box.

Welcome to ECF. It seems that most of the good suggestions are already typed. Just remember more cloud = more juice used.

Hello there, im new here, and i would be really glad if you guys could help me in choosing my starter kit since this will be my first, im thinking of the kangertech subtank mini kit or the kangertech subox mini kit, if you dont mind me asking, can i know which one is better, i would love the clouds but not that much, a good amount to just chill and do some Os and other things, i would like the flavour too, but more to the cloud, like 60% cloud chasing 40% flavour, thank you for your time

If you really want big clouds you should go for a tank like the Uwell Crown, the Smoktech TFV4, the Freemax Starre/Sense Herakles, or the Horizon Arctic or Arctic Turbo, plus a dual 18650 box mod like the Cuboid or the Xcube or the Snow Wolf, or the Wismec RX200 if you want to go up to three batteries at once. Then you will have as much power and clouds as you can handle and you can turn things down from there if never.

Those tanks and mods are usually recommended to more advanced users though because you have to "marry" the batteries by charging them together and carefully labeling them, plus those tanks (at least the Horizon arctic from my experience with it) use a lot of juice and the Arctic will burn a coil out if the juice gets too low.
