need help on what to get

The main reason i want to vaper is, I have quit smoking a few times cold turkey without out a problem.
I have started again but only like 1/2 pack a day but got a new job and i am in my car now all day long and it has gone up like 1 or 2 packs a day. I know all this smoke is not good for me and even feel like crap from it. I would like to vaper in my car because i cant quit while driving so much. I am just confused on what to get for my purpose and in my research i stared with looking at e-cigs green and blu till i found this site and now i am confused lol.
I don't care what the cig looks like just want to smoke while driving and have it close to a Parliament cigarette and nicotine with out the smoke.
what confused me was the green and blu looked good and easy only having 2 pieces to deal with but than the diping thing confused me. Is this done because of cost? Is there something i can get that does both? Can anyone have some insight that would help with this. And of course like everything i read here batt life would be grate.

For driving the quick answer for me would be a KR808D-1 passthrough from V4L (there are plenty of others that sell them) with prefilled cartomizers so you don't have to worry about a battery dying on you. 2 piece and easy. I wound up with a bunch of 808 batteries and cartomizers to start with while I continued to read as much on here as I could. I rarely use the PT now but always have a bunch of batteries at the ready. I still like the cigarette size the best.

I remember when I started I was overwhelmed with choices and had I waited until I could figure it all out I would still be reading and smoking.

There is plenty of time to figure out all the details later, ... but for me it worked by starting simple.

I haven't saved any money yet, but I don't smoke! And I don't want to.

What kind of cigarettes? Full strength? And what are your needs for the charge life of a single battery?

The small ecigs like Joye 510 only have a couple of hours battery life. Or you can get 60% more charge life with the 510 mega xl batteries or about 3-4 hours for a light to moderate vaper. Something like KR808D-1 also sold by Vapor4Life.com with the standard batteries is about the same charge life as the 510 mega xl. Then the fat battery models like Riva and Ego have 6-8 hour charge life plus the ability to use low resistance (LR) atomizers and cartomizers for a hotter hit (and those also use up the battery charge faster). If you get Riva or Ego also get the Ego button protector - on the Liberty Flights site it is with the Ego batteries.

Whatever you get, get MANUAL batteries because auto batteries are much easier to kill or ruin with juice leaks, autos can turn on accidentally from wind or vibration, and manuals give you more control to get a good hit. And you need eliquid for all of them.

For manual KR808D-1 see LiteCigUSA.net and Vapor4Life.com and you will require cartomizers because it is a 2-piece. Can use a DSE901 atomizer and drip tip for dripping.

For the fat battery models look at the Riva 510 Lite Bundle at Liberty-Flights.com (first click the 20% off in the upper left of the front page and that will make the price under $30). The atomizers that come with it are low resistance and pretty hot. I plan to just use those for dripping with a drip tip since I don't use carts (the kind used with an atomizer) any more. I recommend cartomizers for every day. You can also look at the Ego models there - Ego is the original fat battery 510.

For 510/Riva/Ego - Liberty-Flights.com may be out of Boge cartomizers so buy some 510 standard and LR Boge cartomizers at LiteCigUSA.net and they also have drip tips

For KR808D-1 I recommend the blank cartomizers at Vapor4Life.com and I also like their WOWbacco and WOW Vanilla. I think some of their fruits are overdone. I top off their prefilled cartos with juice from elsewhere though I do buy their WOWbacco which is a cocoa tobacco.

I believe there are PCCs available for all of those for charging on the go. For the small 510 there is a very nice PCC at NoSmokeVA.com (hold one charging and one other battery and 6 attachments). For mega xl 510 there is a less roomy metal PCC found at other 510 vendors I listed and VaporKings.com has one with an adapter so it can charge standard or mega xl slim 510 batteries. If you don't care what it looks like, get an ego at LF for $30. You get two batteries with it and one battery will last you 8-10 hours without a charge. You can even buy an additional 1000 mah battery and mine lasts 24 hours. No need for pass-thrus or PCC's at all.

Not all usb car chargers will power the PT. The one at V4L is rated 5V and 2000mA and is advertised to power the PT. Not all the sites list the rating for their chargers. I have one usb car charger that will charge a battery but will not power my PT.

Yes, the V4L equipment is threaded with KR808D-1 threads and their usb car charger powers the PT.

Those are all the same questions I had when I was getting started and it about drove me crazy.... was worried I would wind up with stuff that wouldn't work together because I didn't quite get the difference in the two main types of threads, 510 and KR808D-1. I was glad to find a kit to start with....

Driving has always been a time when I would smoke the most....
