So I have this evod ecig that I bought from a friend. It was fully charged when I got it and was working just fine. When it died I screwed it into the charger and it won't charge. I think it's the charger because the light on the charger doesn't light up green or red at all. Any ideas to what's the problem? And how much would a new charger cost?

First - is the outlet on (I have one in my apartment with a switch and yes, I've forgotten to turn it on lol)
Next I'd clean the connections from both the battery and the charger and then try to reconnect it and see if the lights go on - gunk can build up in there from leaking atomizers.
And if that doesn't work, replace the charger. Its like 3 bucks I think? Been a while since I used a non-mech sorry

Is it the kind that using a USB plug? If so, you may want to try a different usb port on your computer.
Ya I already cleaned the charger and ecig where they touch with a qtip and rubbing alcohol like I was told by someone but it didn't work
Do you have a wall-wart? I never use the USB ports on the computer to charge anything. Something might go wrong. There should be a vape shop somewhere around where you can buy a new charger. Are you in DC or the state?
Yes I treid two different wall chargers and niether worked and I live in waashinton state

I went through quite a few cheapo eGo batteries and USB chargers. My rule for them was never trust what the LEDs on the chargers were doing, because I would always get different results with each of them.
If you have a phone charger adapter that plugs into a wall and has a USB port on it you could try charging it off the wall adapter. I wouldn't risk frying my USB ports and possibly my motherboard while trying to charge a cheap ego battery.

I tried 2 different phone charger adaptors that work for my phone but they don't work for my ecig. My question is do you think I need a new charger because when I plug it in the lights on the charger and ecig do not come on
