So I'm relatively new compared to most out there and I have no one to thank but the people on this forum! So I've heard of steeping and I guess from what I understand is throw it in a dark area after it's been shaken, and uncap it, letting it breathe for a day. From here recap it and let it sit another day and your juice should be good? 1/3 of the flavors I have definitely is a crap vanilla latte and I figured steeping might help, it didn't do too much... All advice on the subject is appreciated!

vaping for about a month, cig free for just over 6 days :)

Steeping helps liquid mix more... but usually won't make bad liquids good. They can, however, make good liquids even better. I usually let mine steep with an open top with cheese cloth over top (don't want anything to get into them on accident) and depending on the juice I let them steep from 1 day to sometimes 2 weeks.

You said everything right except it takes about a week, maybe more if you're new to this, to age (steep) new juice. One day, sometimes 2 uncapped if it's perfumy or alcoholic smelling, not too much longer or you'll lose the overall flavor. Congrats on your 6 days, that's awesome! The more time your tastebuds have to rejuvenate the earlier you'll be able to get the taste you're looking for. This has been my experience. Where did you purchase yours? I used MtBakerVapor with 1 flavor shot (and that's strong to me right outta the package) you may try up to 5 but that'd be way strong and they are reasonably priced. I have not tried their tobacco flavors so I can't give you advice on those, I DIY (make my own).

I have some 100% VG from virgin vapors but I actually just ordered 7 bottles from MBV! I wasn't sure how they'd be and for the price I threw 2 extra shots in them all cause I wanted more flavor. Maybe I over did it -__-? Maybe I'm not getting good flavor because I have such high VG, maybe it's cause I use 2.4 nic levels, idk but the 50/50 I have tastes whatever flavor wise aswell. Of the 7 coming in I ordered a great variety of 20/80 and 50/50 (PG/VG) and 3 are 1.8 and the other 4 are 2.4. I guess I just haven't found my eliquid yet and it can be frustrating... In the end all of this relates to my post and I didn't know if I should be steeping different, leaving the cap off longer, or recap like I have and just leave em in the dark longer?

Taking the cap off, kissing it, breathing it, shaking it ,holding it on top of a mountain w.e is a neat way to steep but I just sit mine in a dark place for couple weeks and take it back out and It's good to go...

Yep, that's my technique. Throw it in the bottom of the shoebox o' e-liquids. Find it a few weeks later, taste it--yummy. However, I have found IME that if it's a turd today, it'll still be a turd next month. Steeping makes good juice better, not salvage a cruddy one.

Steeping can be done to enhance flavors or outright change the overall taste of a juice, there are tons of ways to steep juice it looks like you found a way that suits you.

I have found in my months of vaping, if I dont like a juice, no amount or type of steeping ever changes that. However I dont like most juices, really, 99% taste like ... to me. So dont be surprised if you have a small range of juice you may like too and the vanilla Latte just isnt in it. To me steeping only makes juice taste stronger, sometimes to strong.

Have fun, keep vaping and stay healthy!

If those flavors are too strong just keep them uncapped for several days and then try them. I use a 50/50 mix and it's perfect for me. Great flavor and vape. Never tried a 20/80 but it'll definitely give a vape. As you probably know pg carries the flavor and vg gives the vapor, that's why I use a 50/50 to get the best of both :)
