Okay guys, so I have a little bit of a problem. One of my coworkers has recently started vaping, thanks to a little bit of pushing on my part. He has a Vision Spinner, and a Aerotank by Kanger. However, I recently started carrying one of my Mechs with a plume veil with me to work. Of course, my clouds are quite larger than his, and it made him jealous. He has decided that in order to achieve bigger clouds he is going to go get his own Mech/rda setup. However, I tried to tell him that it isn't that simple and he needed to be extremely careful and make sure that he has all the right equipment before just throwing something together. All of my attempts to tell him about battery safety and Ohm's law have failed to have any, impact on him. He seems unwilling to listen to what I have to say and determined that he will be fine building whatever he wants. I don't know what APV/RDA/batteries he will end up getting, but I doubt that he will do the research needed to understand how to get everything together safely.
How can I convince him to cloud chase safely, with all the right equipment? Am I doomed to watch him create a pipe bomb, and just hope that no injuries occur? Any advice on how I should handle this situation would be greatly appreciated.

You could try...

"What all are you thinking of getting ? Let's look it up together..."

Tried, only problem is, I work outside as a tree man, so not very much opportunity to check the internet for what he's looking at. I've tried pointing him towards a Nemesis or Panzer, with a Magma RDA and Sony VTC4 batteries. But i don't think that has stuck with him.

Maybe you could point him in the direction of the Forum? As he reads posts he may start to appreciate that mods have safety issues. Everything he needs to know is somewhere on this forum, he just has to find it... or ask.

Again, another thing I have tried. He is very independent and of the mind set that he knows best and doesn't think he needs anyone's help. I've sent him links to Baditude's blog, and other helpful things I have found, and I can only hope that he has read them. If all else fails, I will try and check him gear once he gets it and make sure it safe.
