I need some help testing a new contest idea I came up with. The contest is called Knockout© a numbers based contest where your entry must knock out the entry of last post. The rules are rather simple.
Participants are allowed to use the any 4 numbers between 1 and 9 that add up to 17. You can only use 1 number of the previous entry to knockout that entry. Once you place entry and our confident that the 4 numbers equal 17, you must declare a Knockout or - KO at the end of your entry. (see example below)
You cannot use the same number more than once in your entry. To win you must use 4 numbers that add up to 17 without using any of the 4 numbers of the post above you.
What if you enter 4 numbers and they don't equal 17, but declare a knockout or use 2 numbers of the previous entry? Then you are disqualified from the contest. The next entry must KO whatever was the last valid entry that equaled 17.
No editing of answers is allowed....if your reply shows an edit....you're disqualified and no longer able to place an entry. That being said I believe you have 30 seconds to edit your reply without an edit notations showing...so that's your gamble.
You may enter as many times as you like......
Example:
Starting Numbers:2 8 3 4
Reply 1........ 9 5 2 1 - KO
Reply 2........ 3 4 8 2 - KO
Reply 3........ 7 1 3 6 - KO
Reply 4........ 5 1 2 9 - KO
Reply 5........1 3 7 6 - KO
Reply 6........ 6 2 4 5 - KO
