Ok, I'm using a 510 3ml tank, a 45mm dual coil carto and High Caliber 50/50 blend liquid. First try flooded, 2nd try burnt.

First try I put 15-20 drops in the carto and filled the tank. Vaped for about 15 min and the carto soaked up all the liquid in the tank. So I filled the tank again about half way because I thought the purpose of a tank is to always know how much liquid you have left. That carto flooded!

Second try I put 10-15 drops in the carto and filled the tank half way. Tried to vape and got little vapor. Waited about 10 minutes and tried again and got a really bad burnt taste. This time the carto did not soak up any liquid from the tank. This carto burnt!

Both times I waited 15 minutes after filling before I tried to vape. Can someone please tell me what im doing wrong.

best advice i can give is to stop filling the carto, and let the tank do the work like it's supposed to XD anyways what i usually do is punch 4 holes into the bottom of the carto, to allow maximum flow+ allow vaping from all angles when the liquid gets low...then i fill the tank about 3/4 of the way full and push the carto up into place....you'll see the fluid in the tank drop almost instantly to about 1/2 full, filling the bottom half of the carto...THEN i drop about 3 drops into the top of the carto to prime it, let it soak in, and if it needs more i add about three more drops, once the polyfill appears moist at the top, i drop the carto back down and fill the tank to about 80%, push the carto back into place, pop in a drip tip and vape.

It took a little while for me to get the hang of getting DCTs working properly. It just takes finding that happy combination. Need a little more information. Is it one of the Smoktech tanks? What type of cartos are you using? The Smoktech tank cartos that are pre-punched, or are you punching XLs? Do you pull the carto down so the hole is below the lower o-ring when filling the tank? The 3.5ml tanks are very touchy when trying to get the proper pressure differentiation thing going, and to gauge the correct size hole or holes that works the best with the juice you're using. Takes a bit of playing around. Also, the flooded cartos that you have been using so far aren't ruined, just blow them out a bit.

Thanks for the heads up on my flooded carto. Good thing is was still at the top of the trash can. I blew it out and it works perfect now.:toast:
