I have a Vamo v2 and it is still my go to device after almost a year.
and as it is a 510 connection any 510 tank will work with it.ProVape said:We recommend only using AW IMR high drain batteries in your ProVari
You must use batteries that have a positive button on the top. Flat top batteries will not work.
Vamo, and the ZMAX seem to be around what I'm looking for. Same batteries and whatnot, you guys have these models and are happy with them? What tanks would you suggest for 100% VG for these mods? Just trying to find a whole setup so I can order for Christmas for myself. LOL
I recommend getting the extension cap with the full size Provari, then you can use an 18650 battery which is the most common battery size and which most mods use.
Regulated mods which use an 18650 battery are plentiful: Smoktech SID/VMax/ZMax/TMax; Innokin SVD/134/VTR; Tesla; Vamo, etc.
Important to Know: The Provari requires button-top IMR batteries.
Yea gonna go for the extension cap it looks like with the 18650. Wasn't aware of the button top IMR requirement thank you, that limits you from flat top mods correct? Sorry peep still figuring out all the language.
We're talking about flat top batteries vs button top batteries; not flat top mods.
Most mods don't have a requirement about the type of battery top that they use, but the Provari does. Provape designed the Provari to accept only button top batteries as a safety feature, to prevent someone putting a battery in upside down which causes a bad thing to happen with mods called "reverse polarity". For instance, using a battery upside down with a Kick in a mechanical mod will ruin the Kick.
The actual connector top of the mod makes no difference; some have a tapered cone shape and some are flat topped.
I may as well be first to say it -- Get an MVP 2.0. It doesn't have a replaceable battery, it charges via USB port, and can go 2-3 days before needing another charge. 101vape.com has them for $40. Very nice unit with VV/VW for the price until you save up for the bad boy.
