Need help with Flavor Apprentice Caramel Capp

After trying some Backwoods Brew Caramel Capp I knew I needed to make this flavor. I did a small batch using 20% Flavor Apprentice Caramel Capp. I'm very new at this but like my juice flavorful so I've been doing 20-30% flavor and it's been incredible. The CC batch was absolutely disgusting. It's down the drain. Is 20% too much or not enough?

This is an extremely strong flavor. I use 4%.

I have only tried mixing it once so far, at 10% and it was terrible. SUPER strong. I have since read on the TPA site that it is intact a VERY strong flavor and should be mixed in very low percentages. As Neo mentions above.

Thanks. Just starting DIY juice and I think this is the hardest part...knowing how much of a particular flavor is enough or too much.

I will give it another shot using much less.

I use it at 5%.

The key is to do your research using the search engine on ECF for each flavor before you begin mixing.

When I get a new flavor, I mix 1 ml of 80/20 pg/vg (no nic). For flavors I add either 5% or if someone has posted a percentage I start with that. If it is not strong enough I simply add to the next level (usually 10%) and so on. For testing I drip 2 drops at a time on the atty. There is no TH but it gets the flavor right.

I use 6 drops in 60 ml LOL I use it at about 1 drop per 10ml. I could not even imagine it at 20% must have been really bad

All, I tried it again at 5% and it still was not great but better. Useable but not desirable.

i need to re mix some of this myself. after mixing it a 10% and it making me want to puke, i just stare at the flavoring and think "never again", but perhaps i will mix some at 1% and see how it goes.

The PA Caramel Capp is one of my two all-day-every-day flavors.
*Have* noticed it reacts differently in PG and VG.

My mix is
90/10 PG/VG
7% Caramel Capp
3% Ethyl Maltol

Vaped at stronger nic level (18mg+) gives fine bite.
