Btw, hello everyone. I’m new to this site but I’ve got a pretty good grasp on vaping. I just need new tank recommendations for my Innokin MVP4, I’m currently using a TFV8 baby tank and I’m wanting an upgrade (for more flavour and clouds) and I usually vape between 70-80 watts. Any suggestions? thanks
Hello, MS99, and welcome to ECF!

My username is 100%VG and friends call me VG. Let's see if I can help you, but first I need more info...

What are you looking for? A SubOhm Tank that takes premade Coil Heads (as they used to be called, or commonly just Coil now) or a Rebuildable Tank like an RTA, RDTA, etc., which is much cheaper to use than a SubOhm Tank because premade Coils aren't cheap. Whatever kind of Tank you're thinking about; one with premade Coils or a Rebuildable, do you want Round Wire like Kanthal or SS316L or do you want Mesh which can also be found in Kanthal and SS316L, though Kanthal is very common for Mesh. Both types of Tanks can use Wire or Mesh. If you like Temp Control (TC), you'll need Wire made of Titanium (TA1), Nickel (Ni200), or Stainless Steel 316L (SS316L), though SS316L is most commonly used for TC Wire now, but Mesh is usually only SS316L for TC. And what kind of Tank milliliter Capacity? There are so many Tanks available that we need to narrow it down some. Also, do you like an unrestricted Direct Lung (DL) puff/hit, restricted DL, or what? More flavor and vapor/clouds usually means full on DL, whether it's Coils or a Rebuildable.

Also, to prevent Tank Overhang on your MVP4, what's the maximum diameter for a Tank on it? 24mm or what? My MVP5 looks best with up to 24mm. The Innokin Ajax Tank that came with the MVP5 Kit has a 2ml capacity for TPD Compliance and a 5ml Bubble Glass for USA customers, and I have to say that the Ajax Tank is a great choice if you want premade Coils, if its Tank capacity is enough for you. It has different Coil options for various Vaping styles, but the Tank is really made for DL. Lots of stuff to be considered!!!

For more info on the Innokin Ajax Tank, here's a link to my Innokin MVP5 and Ajax Kit - A Review. To save you looking for it, the most detail on the Ajax Tank is in post #4 here, but read as much of all of it as you care to. I was given this Kit by Innokin in a Giveaway thread of theirs here on ECF, though I didn't actually enter the Giveaway. It's all in the 1st post.

I stay quite busy with other things, but I'll check back for your reply when I can, so please be patient. Plus, I live in Central Louisiana where hurricanes trouble us frequently until November's end, so that could delay me, too, as Eta's path is "sketchy" and it could turn our way from Florida, but I will be back to see your reply and try to help you. Just please provide as much detail as you can.

See ya later.

Hello,

Thank you so much for your reply. I wasn’t expecting such an in-depth answer! After so much careful consideration and research, reading reviews and looking up the specs. I decided to go with the Falcon Horizon 2 tank, measuring just 25mm in diameter which should no doubt fit well on my MVP4. Even so, a little overhang will definitely not bother me as I’m looking at getting a new mod sometime soon, I’m just doing one bit at a time. It’s got a Sector mesh coil with woven wire which is what I am used to at the moment. Flavour and clouds guaranteed, I will be posting on here again with my review of the Falcon 2 when I’ve given it a try.

Thanks again for your reply I really appreciate it, I’ll be back in touch with the performance, then maybe we can talk new mods
