hi all - i purchased a few of PA flavours, just to try them out. i have the following:

white chocolate
cheesecake
vanilla bourbon
vanilla custard
vanilla bean ice cream

i did read that the white chocolate smoothed out the cheesecake and was very tasty. i do have capella's caramel to top this off with... i'm wondering about the vanilla flavours that i purchased... are they good on their own, or should a mix a couple of them together to get a real nice vanilla flavour.... any suggestions out there, i'm all ears.... tc

I have never been totally pleased with just mixing single vanilla flavoring alone. Even the best tasting vanilla to me (Capella's Vanilla Custard) needed a little extra something. IMO adding a slight amount of caramel, marshmallow, or EM helps to bring the flavor out. YMMV. I mix a chocolate using 6 different choco flavors and it tastes pretty good. It is a fuller flavor. Much better than any of the choco's by themselves. Might work for the vanilla as well.

Vanilla Vanilla seems to be a tough one , I mixed PA French Vanilla AT 15 % it is horrible I mixed some of the ones you mentioned at 12% another failure, I love vanilla and It was one of the first flavors I bought. COuple weeks ago I mixed Flavor Art Vanilla Tahiti at 8 % its ok but nothing like I thought I am still looking for that vanilla coffee cream flavor. I did learn that you need to steep the vanillas 3 weeks min with this one longer Is better. I am giving up on just vanilla I'm tired of wasting product however I think I will take the posters above Idea and try some carmel n some of my failures and try to save them I hate waste. If you come up with something please post or pm me .

thnx you for trying to help me.... someone did mention mixing sweet cream-vanilla-malted milk. i do have capella's vanilla custard and french vanilla. i tested both and they are very good... so i mixed a bigger batch up with nic juice and i'm going to let it steep for a week and by the way, they do smell wonderful! i'll keep you posted in how it turned out.... but in the mean time i'm going to try mixing a couple of the vanilla flavours together and see how it goes... i might start out at 15% and see what that does... thnx again...
