Hi guys I've read a few of the threads on the forum and the infozone up top so I like to think I've gained abit of knowledge on the world of ecigs, from the description on the infozone the 510 model would suit me best as I'm not bothered about it looking like a cigarette, I've been doing some searching online and found this starter kit

Joyetech eGo-C

But I also noticed

Joye eGo-T (900mAh) Starter Kit

I was wondering apart from the larger battery what's the difference between the 2 ?

Also if anyone can reccomend any alternatives to either or any more reputable sites to purchase from that would be great.

And I've tried looking for multipacks of the flavours as I've seen alot of people say that it's down to personal taste and it's best to try a multipack to discover favourites and the only one I've found is here C9V E-liquid 5ml Sampler Set - Cloud 9 Vaping but unfortunately the flavours have no nicotine due to a packagining restriction, so does anyone know of any good UK based sites/stores which sell multipacks for flavours with nico ?

Thanks in advance!

Welcome. I don't know what exactly is available in the U.K., but you're wise to not insist on a cig looking e-cig.

The eGo-C and T use different atomizer and tank system.
The T uses a one piece atomizer and cone.
The C uses a two piece arrangement with an atomizer that screws into the bottom of the cone.
On both, a tank is fitted into the cone to deliver juice to the atomizer.

The C is better than the T, which is plagued by leaking and other problems. This forum is full of questions and problems with the T tank system. The C is marginally better and is loved mostly by people who are new to vaping and have nothing else to compare it with.

They are both also 3.4 volt devices which, compared to the 3.7 volts of similar devices, deprive you of a full watt or more of power. They are underpowered, buggy, finicky and mute the flavors of the juice you're vaping.

I wouldn't recommend either one of them. The vast majority of people who get them end up dispensing with the Cone type atomizers and tanks and just get a decent cartomizer or clearomizer. There's no sense in paying for extra stuff that you aren't going to end up using anyway.

Similar models available in the UK is the Riva or the kGo. They use standard cartomizers, clearomizers and other attachments, the type of which you will end up using after you dispose of the "C" or "T" systems. They also run at 3.7V and work great with economical 2ohm cartomizers or clearomizers.

This is a kGo. It has a 1100mah battery. The Riva is similar. Both cost less than either eGo model.

The kGo and Riva are outstanding units for a new vaper. You'll find few complaints and many compliments here from new vapers who have started with them.

Liberty-Flights has a website in both the UK and U.S.. I would check them. They are highly reputable. You may have to google "Liberty-Flights" for the address, or their may be a link to the UK site on Liberty-Flights.com

Congrats on the starting.....I am on 2 months of "quitting" and loving it....things smell better, taste better, and I cant believe the amount of junk that was in my lungs! LOL

I second that Paul.. i am 47 days or so into quitting, i love vaping .. my inferno (ego-c ) with a stardust clearomizer on it rocks..

This ^^

Even if you do end up getting an Ego-C (although I would rather consider the KGO option given above), please get at least a pack of Boge LR cartomizers - the tank-atty system is fiddly and likely to frustrate you in the beginning. If you like it, that's all well and good, but having cartos will assure you'll have a reliable, consistent option to fall back on if you don't like the atty-tank.

Hi & Welcome to ECF! Sailorman mentioned Liberty Flights UK site so in case you haven't found it yet it is here: E-Liquid - E Liquid UK - E Cig Liquid Once you get five posts in this New Members' Forum, after about an hour you'll be able to post elsewhere on ECF. At that point I think you'll find a UK Forum where lots of knowledgeable folks can better direct you. I see Liberty Flights lists the Riva 510 Carto kit, which is good, but I only see it with 650mAh batteries (not bad, but if you can find the KGO kits available with 1100mAh batteries that would be much better).

Best wishes & Happy Vaping! :vapor:

Hello Pedro and welcome to the wonderful world. I agree with sailorman in regards to the cone, base and atomizer on the ego-C and atomizer on the T. They are finicky and have a tendency to leak. But I am partial to Joyetech and I Love there batteries. I would suggest getting a couple 1000mAh USB PT's some cartos and a couple stardust clearomizers. That should be a pretty good start. Once you get to the point of getting tired of filling cartos then maybe you should consider picking up a DCT. Good luck!

Here's a complete list of suppliers in the UK: ALL ABOUT E-CIGARETTES UK - Recommended & new suppliers list

With a discount code list: ALL ABOUT E-CIGARETTES UK - Discount codes.

You wont really need a multipack. Just need to get some 5ml testers and try them out for cheap before you get the 30ml + sizes.

FreedomVape Online Store - Items - FreedomVape (UK) have a lot of 5ml sampler sizes and they have a lot of good juices. I'd have to give a shout out to them if anyone for samples.

5ml Samplers (18mg) £2.29 - E-Liquids - 5ml Samplers Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid also have cheap samples but not as big a range on samplers.

Best place to pick up a riva would be here I think: http://www.vapeescape.co.uk/the-riva-1100-deluxe-kit~151 with the code "allabout" for a discount. You can use the ego C or T atomisers on them if you want but you'd probably be better off with cartomisers or something better than the ego tank failures.

Hello & welcome Pedro :)

If you go for the Riva kit that Leftfield has linked to, ask at checkout for the atomisers to be swapped for cartomisers. You'll be sent 10 cartomisers (& usually a free drip tip).
Just say chrissie sent you and they'll know what kit you want and everything :laugh::laugh:

I'm just as bad for suggesting the same kit but it's the kit to suggest so my hands are tied :D

Best place to pick up a riva would be here I think: The VE Riva 1100 Deluxe Kit £34.95 - Deluxe Vaping Kits - Riva 1100 Kit Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid with the code "allabout" for a discount. You can use the ego C or T atomisers on them if you want but you'd probably be better off with cartomisers or something better than the ego tank failures.

Thanks so much for the help and apologies for the incredibly late reply but I've not had the money to purchase until now. It seems the kit you suggested now comes with cartomisers and a drip tip so I'm guessing I don't need to follow Chrissie's advice and ask for the switch ?

It also seems the 5ml samplers are out of stock so I went with the 5ml Grizwald's Gourmet Range > Pick 'n' Mix Grizwald's Pick 'n' Mix Golden Burginia, 666, GY-4, Honey Tabac, Black Cat VE133 and E-Liquid Mom and Pop Vapor Shop *Praze* 24mg VE289 10ml - 24mg because it was on offer so hopefully they'll do the job.

How long should these liquids last me ? Would be good to know so I can order more before I run out

Thanks

edit - scrap that I was waiting for AA so I lost my checkout items and now they only have the Riva in Pink which I'm not getting so I guess I'm going to have to wait for the other colours to come back in stock but at least you guys can reccomend if I made the right choice for when I do come to order ?

Well worth waiting for new stock. Other PVs in the same class fire at 3.3 volts- Riva, also known as the Kgo, fires at 3.7 volts and there is a noticeable difference. This package is better than the previous package as you get a clearomizer and cartomizers. Afterwards you can decide which system (cartos or clearos) you like better. I would advise you buy an Riva 510 - Atomisers £4.50 - Vaping Spares - Atomisers Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid to test new juices- much easier to clean if the juice is foul tasting rather than using a carto or clearo and having to wash them out.

2 x 1100mah Batteries (3 Clicks on/off)
1 x Vision Ego Standard Resistance Clearomisers
5 x Standard Resistance Cartomisers

1 x Cover Cone
1 x USB Charger
1 x 510 Drip Tip (For use with the cartomisers)
1 x Vape Escape Carry Case

Great news. I've converted many people and the most popular device is the Kgo/ Riva. Just remember to drink lots of water as vaping is extremely dehydrating. Also clean the batt and charger connections occasionally and never over tighten accessories as this will damage the battery- just finger tight.
Happy Vaping

Thanks again ordered the stuff during the week and arrived today, pretty impressed with it to be honest much better than I had expected :)
