Need help with the blue foam

Ok, so I bought the Marineland Rite Size "U" last night. I rinsed with very hot water and loaded it up (too impatient)... but after a few vapes it started tasting like burned plastic.
I'm thinking maybe I didn't actually "wash" it??? How to I get that taste out?

BTW, I followed instructions for the fold over...if that makes a difference.

I've always rinsed mine with PGA and let it dry until it goes back to normal size. Never had an issue like that.

(Note: PGA has nothing to do with PG, please hover curser over abbreviation to get def.)

Sounds to me like it is too large for the cart. You need to cut it down further. You do not want it to touch the mesh inside the atomizer.

The "burnt plastic" is exactly the reason why I don't use foam. Not very helpful I know but I feel for you. Try cutting the foam to the size of the cart, ie. slips in like a hand in a glove.

Get a drip tip and say goodbye to fillers. I tried every method under the sun and dripping is by far the best.
