It's been awhile since I've been here and I have fallen into smoking and vaping... I want to stop smoking again but I'm having a tough time doing so. My question is Ive been vaping the ego-t units, ego, low res cartos and I feel it isnt enough to shake the smoking habit. I really need everyone's input on this, it is driving me crazy, I want to quit smoking again. What I think I need is a stronger pv unit but don't know which one. My problem is when I vape I just don't really get a good throat sensation anymore making me wanting to have a smoke instead.... Is a silver bullet a good choice or wrong choice... Sorry for rambling on here but it's the smokes talking:(
Thanks

I'm going to give an opinion that might not be liked.
You Like To Smoke!
I do as well. You don't need a high powered unit with massive vapor like a cigar and a nic content of 3 times your cig.
You either want to give em up or you don't.

My 510's and KR808D-1's when fitted with a LR carto have plenty of punch to match or go beyond what a cig puts out in vapor and nic. I still smoke, but at 1/4 of what I did....Why? I like to smoke! It isn't necessary and I'm getting plenty out of both models to put the cigs down. I just haven't yet (my bad).

Get the flavor/vapor/nic level right, and then there is no excuses.

Sorry

For me, it took 5 volt box mods... with the 3.x volt stuff, I was still tempted to go back to cigs (I didn't... but it was close). 5 volts had a good hit. So I'd suggest checking into either a 5 volt box mod, a vv (variable volt) mod, or at least getting a 5 v direct passthrough + 2.0 amp wall wart and trying it out. You'll want a 3.0 ohm atty/carto with that.

Also, remember that vaping is not for everyone. Tobacco has lots of properties, most negative, but not all. So it gets complicated and only you can tell how you feel. Per your post, maybe 5 volts will help.

Good Luck!

To be honest, I think it takes a little willpower to get off cigs. I started vaping a month or so ago and at the same time I tried to get my girlfriend and my bro to do the same.

They are still sneaking cigs here and there. My girlfriend cut down a little, but my bro has been doing really good.

When I got my PV I didn't smoke a cig since day one. I was too fascinated with it! lol.

It's all psychological. When you want a cig reach for the PV don't grab those cigs!
