I've had all my attys (510, 901, 810) for about 2 months and they're all still working strong. I know from what I've read on this forum that if you take too many hits in a row, you can burn out your attys. That's why many of us take two ecigs wherever we go and rotate them. I've noticed that the 510 atty gets very hot after 3 strong drags, but doesn't take long (about 45 sec) to cool off. On the other hand, the 801 seems to allow more drags before getting hot. Could just taking too many drags one after the other be the problem? We do tend to sometimes puff them more than we did ciggys. Good luck to you and I'm sure you'll get more opinions here.

Edit: Yes, I'd sure suggest getting a Mod of some kind. My Janty Stick seems much more able a device than my little 510 and 901 ecigs. (But I think all the small PV's like the 510, 901, 401's, are excellent beginner devices because they're inexpensive for those who want to see if vaping works for them before spending more money on a Mod)

15 in 3 months is extreme. I have to doubt they are actually going bad. Give more details about what's happening.
yep your right it is a bit extreem but they are all dead they just stop working they tend to slow down and then stop i drain then every few days then put on loads of juice but they just die

My wife uses a 401, been using it for 4 months now. She's on her second atty.

But she doesn't drip. Carts only so maybe if you're dripping, your flooding and clogging them.

One thing I noticed was the crest mouthwash cleaning method worked WONDERS on her original 401 atty. Its brand new and she's currently using it while the second one is waiting to be cleaned.

Just a FYI, might be worth to try it.

I would definitely try cleaning one of them. There's all kinds of different methods. My Npro came with directions on boiling mine for 1 minute. If you are having this many issues, you may want to try a different type of liquid. they definitely aren't all created equal. I would try cleaning one, and if it starts working again, try a sample pack from another vendor. There's definitely something weird going on. Another thing to try would be buying your atomizers from a different company. Again, not all atomizers are equal either. :)

Check this thread about Crest mouthwash cleaning method - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo.../35917-sattecs-atty-cleaning-test-thread.html

First thing first - check attys resistance, it should be in the ballpark of 3.5 Oms (3.2 - 3.7). Anything above 10 Oms should be thrown away.

The rest of the attys, once with a good resistance, just badly clogged, try to resurrect them with the above method.

Good luck!

I'm guessing when you're "draining them" and adding "loads more juice", you're doing something that's clogging or otherwise impeding your atomizer. Maybe you're burning them out, or maybe they can be resurrected.

Can you explain your process step by step?
I drain them overnight on tissue the refill them i am going to try and boil one to see if i can give it new life thanks for the reply

Brew30,

You probably missed my advice, post #12.

None of the advised attys cleaning methods would help if your attys are dad - there is no point to revive a dad atty.

One more time:
First thing first - check attys resistance, it should be in the ballpark of 3.5 Oms (3.2 - 3.7). If it is considerably higher than that it is already a lost cause.
