Hello all!!!

I'm new to the forum and I had a question. I currently have the V2 setup and am happy with it. I was looking for cheaper prices than V2 on some replacement parts for the V2 setup that would be compatible and much cheaper. I'm looking for the following:

  • Cheaper Blanks and Carts
  • Cheaper replacement batteries

I heard Smokeless Image Volt products are compatible and they are much cheaper. Is this the right direction to take???

Thanks again and hope to talk soon!!!

ah V2's, that's where I stated a year ago. Best thing is to find a different source for juice, like Mt Baker Vaper, will save tons over V2 juices. Way over priced, though the did have some of the best Coffee and Vanilla vape that I've ever had. lol but not at their prices. I would go to the local vape or smoke shop and see what will fit, and see what you like best. I remember when the Beta tanks came out, thought I'd found vape bliss, oh I was so very, very wrong

Welcome to the forum, where you can discover what is Vape possible. Take a look around and see what Vape your fancy.

Sorry couldn't be of more help, but it hurts my head to think about trying to outfit a cig-a-like. They were just an infantile span of time of my vaping journey. But, they did get me off smokes and did find the ecf, where I became a vaper.

Vape long and Prosper.!!!

Thanks for the tip. Funny enough, I'm waiting for a delivery from Mt. Baker as we speak!!!

I do have to say that even searching the forum for e-juice vendors makes my head spin as there seem to be hundreds of them and maybe 20-50 that serve quality products just looking at first glance. I thought about upgrading from my cig-a-like to a more advanced unit but the same problem again, there are hundreds of sizes and types that the V2 offers me simplicity that I don't see in the other models, which seem to need constant maintenance, having changeable, replaceable parts and all, battery charges, ohms, it's too crazy almost...

Sorry about these!!
Over priced stuff that not worth it.

Not really sure if you are ready or willing... but consider the following.
Ego batteries (2) with 2 EVod tops..... Is good.
itaste VV v3 (2) with 2 Evods tops ..... Is better.
itaste MVP V2 or VAMO with either of the above batteries for back up and 2 EVODs. Best.

Now.... There are better set ups out there but you will need time and experience to use them. Eg: Mech mods, Kayfun ETC.....

What I have learned for my vaping is that 2 back up is better than 1 back up. No back up is no way!!

This is only when you are ready to upgrade , be happy and far far less expense!

Cheers

Heard about Ego, but have absolutely no clue as to who makes it or where to buy it but I'll look into it. What I like about the cig-a-like is the simplicity and portability. I sometimes see people walking down the street with these big fat pipes hanging from their necks and I'm like ... whereas my V2 looks like a cigarette and nobody notices....

UPDATE: Google is my friend, found the company Joytech. I'll look into it, thanks for the tip. I'll comment on your suggestion after a little research...

The mAh is the battery output per hour. The higher the mAh the longer it outputs that voltage for an hour. I do know that At 650 an atomizer that reads 1.8 ohms would be bigger vapor clouds, a little less flavor. I do know that much. Just got schooled on this subject yesterday and that's about what I remember.

So, the CC is the more "sleek" option, with variable voltage I think. The T has the twist bottom variable voltage, and the C is the basic model. I have the C, that was my first. Still works fine. One voltage setting, which you know, who cares..I think that having variable voltage is great when you start to run low on your battery, but that's about it. Then it's just my opinion though.

Okay, for me very confusing. There are 3 Ego models, CC, C, and T.

Sorry to interject, but where are you looking?

You don't need to buy an e-cig with CC or C or T. In fact, I would sponsor you some of my hard earned money to NOT buy any of those models!?

Last time I looked eGo CC was a Joyetech model with the "infamous" atomizer and cartridge system. In the overall scheme of things you might do better to just buy a simple battery (variable power if you like) and some clearomizers.

While Joytech brought the EGO to market first, the term EGO and EGO battery are now terms used for any number of batteries that fit a certain format (including the connection between the battery and the tank). Many companies make them. Likewise spinners and twists are also made by numerous companies. Not all of the products made by these non-Joytech companies are bad--in fact, some of them are better than the originals. The best place to start with would be a reputable vendor (pick just about any from the ECF Vendor list) that carries "EGO"-something. Others, I believe, are commenting on battery capacity, et al.

There is just so many options in the vape world to choose from, starting out can be very confusing. Sounds like your are happy with the V2's so far, if so, stick with it, find the mini tanks, clearomizers, that will work with it, and keep you off smokes. Then one you check out what is vape Possible, find what makes sense to you, shop for quality, then follow the Yellow Vape Road!!!

Vape is a progressive hobby. Where one starts is no indication where one will end up. You have made the first most important part of the journey, by finding the ecf, this is where all vape becomes possible. Never thought I'd be doing, let alone enjoying, the level of vape I enjoy today through re-building, mixing, and pushing everything to the limits.

Vape long and Prosper.

Just got back to look today, thanks for the information everyone. I'm thankful that you're all kind with me here being a newbie to this all. Many sites flame and ridicule you for ignorance, I'm glad you all are different. The ego c does look great, I do like how you can easily fill it with fluid and it seems like you don't have to throw away the entire tank only change the small parts which saves money and time. I would still not abandon the V2 because it does have its place, being extremely portable and durable for travel...

All of us here have been newbies at some point in time. :) The best setup for you is the one with which you are comfortable and keeps you satisfyingly away from smoking. If you ever feel to the need to upgrade again, this place will be the one with the answers. Until then, feel free to socialize!

Thanks..... As a new member, I'm stuck in this forum for a while until I have a few posts so it looks like you'll be seeing me here.... LOL

Anyway, does anyone have any insight about my original question, cheaper clears, carts and batteries that are compatible with my V2 hardware???

Looks to me like you've made your 5 posts... so feel free to hit the other forums. I'm unfamiliar with V2's but a quick glance seems to indicate that it uses 808 threading. If that's the case, you might be able to find an adapter to the more common 510 connector....

Sadly, I can't help with this; I'm in the UK.
Here, we (vapers on forums) spend a large proportion of our time trying to persuade people to ditch the mini look-a-like e-cigs. Poor value, poor performance, hassle (charging) and cravings (lack of nicotine).

V2 might be one of the better ones, but it's the same story the world over. :)

Back up for your back up and back up to that back up and one more back up for that back up is genius
