Ikenvapes apparently don't work with the V3 which I have. I was wondering if Puresmoker's HV Joye 510's work well with it. I want to make sure the atty doesn't get too hot.

3.5 Ohm. They're gonna be pretty close in temperature. All atty's get hot at 5-6 V, IMHO. Slowing down the urge to chain vape is the only solution I've found.
those are quite similar to ours .... either slowing down or pulsing the button is best IMO. I pulse myself when it gets a bit too hot
I have a V3 at 6V and some of Puresmoker's high resistance 510 atomizers. They work just fine together. I have five of them and they all tested between 3.3 and 3.5 ohms.

I'm curious why IKV 510s don't work on your V3. I've been using those on my V3 with no problems as well as PS HR510s...
The draw just became too stiff. When I looked at the holes in the atomizer it looked like it was being blocked by some type of white material (rubber?). They worked fine for the first few days and then the blockage would happen. One of them didn't have any blocking issues, but it would leak every time I used it. And I'm not an over-dripper (usually 2-3 drops max). I was kind of concerned about buying PS atty's because the one that came with my 6V V3.1 got extremely hot. Like, ridiculously hot just after a few drags.

The one that came with your V3 is probably the SR 510 2.3 ohm. I feel that 6V is way too much for standard 510 atties. I do like PS HR510s which are around 3.2-3.3 ohm. They work very nicely at 6V...

A second opinion that further confirms it for me. I'll definitely be grabbing a HR510 once the paycheck hits the bank.

PS HV510's are great. I ordered a bunch when I bought my V3 and I'm still using my first one after about a month. Super nice warm but not too hot vape.
