well first off, before you can get into the vmax/zmax forum, lets take a look at this chart:

unled66-1.jpg

now, you want to be in the green area when you set voltage...the advantage of owning a vmax is that you can read your juice delivery system's ohms in the menu system....i'm not sure how that works on a vmax, but the zmax menu system is accessed by clicking the button 3 times quickly....you should be able to look up the instruction manual for the device online (probably best to start at the smoketech website) and figure out how to set your voltage and check resistance...once you have checked resistance, consult the chart, and shoot for the high green numbers.

The Vmax and Zmax hit higher than the displayed voltage - so the chart won't match what the mods are hitting at. With Vmax and Zmax start low - like at about 3v, and then work your way up to your desired vape.
Bigred - have you tried searching the forum - there's a search bar at the top of the forum page. A lot of your questions probably have threads with answers. And the Vmax forum will too.
Also have you googled for a Vmax manual to see if there is one online?

I have been smoke a vmax and need to know how is works

need help with other stuff not just vmax i know how that works

It helps if you actually ask a question. You might get more responses that way :)

From your first post, and reading between the lines, it does seem like you are asking about how the vmax works....

Yeah, there are a few thousand pages of posts here about how things work. So, how does what work?

You need to ask more specific questions to get more specific answers.

It might help us if you proof read your messages for better sentence structure and punctuation, too. I don't mean to be a grammar snob, but I had to re-read your questions a couple of times to make sure I understood what you were asking (still don't know).

It would help us try to help you if we knew more about you. Is this your first personal vaporizer? A Vmax is a relatively advanced APV, but I would not automatically assume that you have used other personal vaporizers to have learned on.

There are a lot of friendly people here willing to help. Help us help you. :)

ok so i got that now what is the difference between voltage and wattage? And why control one or the other? why not both?

wattage is actual power output, and voltage is the force pushing amperage through an electric line...in essence, if you change one, you change the other, as far as voltage goes, you should be able to read your carto/clearo/atty resistance, and then be able to determine how many watts you have from that point by how many volts you are pushing to it....however, running variable wattage monitors the resistance for you and determines how much voltage is required to give you your set wattage when you press the fire button....in essence, variable voltage for finding your sweet spot, variable wattage to lock it down.
