Want to upgrade and I think I would like to get this setup for my next buy:

First newb question: Should this be all I need to start vaping with this setup. I know I need juice and a charger.

Second question: Is this a suitable battery for this setup?

Yes and yes. Make sure the battery is unprotected battery.

Since the VAMO (Bamboo) has built-in protection circuit, putting in protected batteries will mess with it and make it not work.

Yes it is a good setup. Should get you going and its all you ll ever really need (plus some replacement coil heads since the iclear will burn out in a few weeks). Down the road you may want to upgrade for a better vape.

My 2 cents

Make sure you have at least 2 and preferably more batteries. You want to at least be able to charge one while using the other. Nothing worse than a nic fit with a dead battery and no replacement.

Always have backups

Yep the battery is great. That thing should last you 2 days between charges; i think 3400mAh is the most powerful 18650 battery available. Get 2 if youre worried it may run out during a vape session.

vamo v2 (bamboo) is definitely the best deal for the money, i recommend you get the stainless steel version if possible, either way it's a great device. just make sure you get quality unprotected batteries since the vamo already has a built in discharge/overcharge protection circuit. and a quality charger like xtar or nitecore.
