Need less nicotine, help with math

I have 24mg strength liquid and want to make 12mg. I have some 6mg strength of the same flavor. How much 6mg do I mix into the 24mg to make 12?

I can’t seem to figure it out.

1:1 would be (24+6)/2=15mg
1:2 would be (24+6+6)/3=12mg

so, twice as much 6mg for the amount of 24mg you are using.

Math is hard for me too... anyone pls correct me if wrong.

Line 2 in bellinghamster's bit looks correct. For every ML (or drop or whatever dimensional unit you care to use) or the 24 mg/ml put in twice that of the 6 mg/ml stuff.

If you want, you could also cut it with pure PG or VG, and just put the same amount of PG or VG as you have of your 24 mg/ml and you'd end up with 12mg/ml strength stuff.

Understood. My solution for that bit was to buy Lorann's at the local hobby lobby in flavors that matched what I originally bought in my "starter" order from Parked.

As I dilute them down (which I'm now using a 50/50 mix of PG/VG to do so), I add in a few drops of the matching Lorann to bring the flavor back up.

As I don't have any unflavored 36 to cut yet, I've been diluting Parked's Niquid 24mg/ml down to 12mg/ml, as even the 24 was giving me headaches. The 12 seems to be much more my speed. As I go through that stuff I'll start brewing my own off a 36mg/ml base. The 50/50 dilution seems to give much better vapor, and I'm not sure the jury is in on the effects of pure VG dilution on the atomizers as of yet?
